Try roughly 90%. Shocked? So were developers at Electronic Arts' Tiburon studio.

"We expected 95% of people or more for a exhibition game or to play each online," says senior designer Josh Looman. "But we never really expected that that many people played the offline franchise mode, which is awesome."

I love it when you are done playing NCAA Road to Glory. RTG was insane and way fun to play, but when you decide to go the NFL and be drafted, the gameplay changes dramatically. Your player went from a 99 overall to a stinkin' 45 overall or something like that. It's terrible. You throw interceptions almost every play. Fumble all the time. Its not Madden 10 Superstar Mode at all. Thanks for butchering one of the top played modes in the game EA!

Finally, some form of presentation! Thats what I liked in 2K5. Don't get me wrong i'm all about madden. I reserve and buy the game year after year. But i'm excited they started bringing in some presentation, keep it up guys, its almost there! Some other suggestions would be some sideline mini cutscenes where players are interacting with each other and or coaches speaking to refs wheather a good or bad call was made on the feild. Also please bring back CHEERLEADERS. Imagine cheerleaders in HD!

In my opinion 2k5 seemed so wierd to play for me. The breaking out of tackles is so unrealistic. They did fix the drops in that game though but madden is my choice for now.

They took some of the elements yes but they didn't go as far as to have celebs. Either way, all football games in the past have had gimmicks in some way.

Them adding things 2k5 has and/or things that are better shows who really wants a good football game and who is into madden bashing. People wanted madden to get things that 2k5 had. Now that the new head team added those things, people still say that its the same. Its obvious that people will bash the game no matter what improvements are made.

Im not a Madden hater like you think, but i think i speak for many people when i say they should focus on adding more animations or better yet have a whole new physics engine. The current gen Madden's are not up to par of what a current game should look like. They shouldnt try to be like a 5 year old last gen game (2K5). If you want to see what a current gen sports game is supposed to look like, then go take a look at NBA 2K9 or the new Backbreaker thats coming out.

I do agree that madden needs an overhaul in animations but yeah they are doing a lot to the game this year.

While Backbreaker uses euphoria, it seems like it won't be that great of a football game and it seems like it will simply be a euphoria demo imo. There hasn't been that much info about it either. I'm interested in it but I'm really not that hyped up about it after seeing the screens of it.

09 sucked ass. Super laggy online games, franchise mode was a bust, the slant post play is undefendable and I could go on and on. 2k5 surpasses every madden game ever made. Although I can't say about 2010 since it hasn't come out yet. But as usual EA only cares about the esthetics's rather than the actual gameplay.
