  • The Evah string looks from China. I have a bounch. $25 per set.

  • This violin is a cheap German copy of Gaspar da Salo, made around 1900. These sell in London auctions for about 200 - 300 pounds

  • @utrocca it's not a cheap copy! It's not even German. Scott Cao modeled this violin after the da Salo. It comes from his from his shop.

  • I am sorry, I did not mean to degrade your violin. If it was made by Scott Cao it should be a good intrument. But generally 99 percent of these double purfled violins I have come across are those factory German stuff.

  • how much?

  • how muchfor this violin? who is the maker and where from?

  • wow that is a very beautiful violin! great sound too- if it is still for sale, how much would you be asking?

  • Hi Woojongkim,

Very nice violin. Probably Maggini copy?

Maybe your strings are a little too hard?

You are probably using Obligato now? Try a softer kind of string like Dominant Thomastik mittel, it might increase the warmth and quality of your sound.

  • they look like eva pirazzi from the video.

  • Those are Evah Pirazzi. Those green with the black spirals... haha yep. I'm not fond of the Pirazzis though. Too much volume and just out there-ness, if that makes any sense. Obligatos, I love. Better range of color and produces a much better tone on my violin.

  • very beautiful sound how much
