All members of "The Ramones" contributed something to the band's wonderful greatness!!! I don't see it, as a , "Who's a better drummer", or "who's the better bassist"!!!! I believe that they all made the band great during their years!!!!

yeah richie's an investment banker now or st. he played a lot faster that marky. marky's the man, though - he took tommy's basic style, made it cleaner, tone and professional.

@darkrockdude I love all ramones albums, their later work displays an amazing evolution of songwriting and general growth in the band. Every member brought something to the table. Their first four albums are classic, but I think their best work was with when Ritchie ruled the kit.

In a interview with Richie, he said that Johnny would sit in his hotel room and just play and rehearse, while Dee Dee got lost somewhere doing heroin and drugs, while he and Joey would hang out at the pool, play minigolf, go to pubs and bars having fun.

@Hed442 yes, tommy and richie were good i dont disagree with that. but marky wasnt and isnt a poser. he played with the ramones for 15 years in two different periods, both of which they released some of their best. and hes still doing tours. i wouldnt call that posing. elvis was their worst drummer not marky

Ritchie Ramone was absolutely underrated. He had a very good voice and his drumming was more sophisticated than Marky, but he never was considered as a Ramone.

I just imagine this song with the Joey's voice...wow.
