'Old' Disney had some quality. I mean, in shows like 'That's So Raven', it taught that you were beautiful no matter what you look like. Nowadays, there really is no more lessons in the shows. Just cheap jokes and stereotypes. Like on 'Shake it Up' they had a model with an eating disorder and making her look like a snob.
@NekiiFTW the only thing i get out of shake it up is like follow your dreams xD and definitely best friends stuff even if you just use it for a regular friend. they teach alot of sacrifice and bonding and cherishing.... its just all the crazy dancing (which they really arent the best at anyways) making the kids act crazy :/

@PS3playerDidier337 There's a difference between being nostalgic/talking about it & straight up bashing the current generation. I was born in the 90s and I've probably watched more of the older shows than you have. The older shows are terribly overrated & most of them weren't that good to begin with. Phil of the Future in my opinion, sucked. The new shows are actually rather funny. Most of those who complain are twenty five year old College students who aren't meant to watch these shows anyhow.

People are constantly saying how horrible Disney is when these shows are trying to appeal to the current generation. not you. People born in the 90s deem themselves superior to others, it's just annoying how every generation thinks they are better than the next. These were the days when I actually looked foward to watching Disney channel, the old disney had all the weird but awesome shows like Phil of the future, thats so raven, even steven, lizzie mcguire and all the others! now they just have crap shows that are for "THE YOUNGER AUDIENCE" Theres no teenage rebellion in these shows but small prissy stuff that just make the world look like a better place. Also used to look up to Aj because I thought she was the cooler of the 2 and wanted to be like her, lmao where's the time gone man :/ Im actually gutted that the generation below me has to watch whatever disney rubbish is on t.v nowadays, Im happy I got to miss all that, re-living childhood memories ftw haha :) Ohh p.s Aj's still the cooler one of the 2 :L

I simply agree. That faggish excuse for a music show they call ant farm is just a copy-off of Victorious. I mean COME ON DISNEY! Find some originality.
Why I think its a copy-off:
1.) Chyna goes to a talent highschool that their older sibling goes to So does Tori
2.) Cameron and Trina are both dead as a doornail and untalented.
3.) Chyna and Tori are well known around school.
4.) Chyna and Tori are both amazing singers.
