I just sold my Keystation Pro 88 to get the money to buy Mackie MCUs, which is the better version of these. I've got an Axiom 49 as keys for now and would buy and ES if I needed the full 88 keys. Behringer is a decent way to go.
Hey 7stringist, in Samplitude is just like that? I tried to connect my BCF2000 with Cubase but I'm going f***ing nuts. Please tell me... I wanna do that crazy fadings too :-)
damn that IS loud... i just bought a BCF2000 abd a BCR2000 for christmas (well my gf bought me the BCR) they will arrive on friday... i did read that the faders are noisy but for $179 i can't complain.
that is pretty cool....
But that thing is louder than a late 70's Cocaine fueled game of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots.

How did you get your faders to move in samplitude?
IllSoulProductions 3 months ago
@dirtykeystv Most controls you want should be assignable.
I use this as channel fader/mute/solo/pan and locater star/stop/FF/RWD.

that's quite noisy :S
any way to silence it a lil bit?

I don't need automation so I just use it as remote faders with a total recall function. I have no problem, no noise during playback.

just pour a teaspoon of olive oil down each fader and there will be no more noise!!

I am deciding between a keystation Pro 88 or the BCF2000 with a keystation 88es. I want to see some outside opinions so please reply.

if you don't need motorized faders, how about nanoKONTROL?

what happens if you stick your finger in it while its moving? do the motors break or does your finger?
RoboticusMusic 2 years ago 7
Since BCF doesn't have touch sensor, nothing will happen. Just BCF will try to move the fader but you can easily stop it.

Do the faders make this kind of noise when you manually move them?
Mun0z387 3 years ago
When I use them manually, there is no problem.

I solved it! Mackey Control Mode is badass :-)

If you want quiet moving faders,
you have to pay the price ...
CM automation ,
same compact size , but more features...
much larger price tag

Thank you but no thank you...
Actually I don't write automation.
It's enough just as a physical controller and total recall function.

thats pretty damn loud (the clicking) are you shure that's healthy?
NickBlackDIN 3 years ago
Actually, I don't use automated fader function.
In my case, I just use the BCF as the remote fader and and they almost are fixed through the music.
