So this fool would like to point out, that WE, in this country, have a serious enemy. This enemy wants to destroy this country - slice and dice, and the way this foe operates , is to divide us in our ideologies and keep the opposing parties at each others throats - this foe, works both sides , against one another - You've heard the saying,"united, we stand - divided, we fall"?

This "foe" uses the media, to stir up a distraction , to work its takeover of U.S. !

I agree with you! And the only way I can see to defeat the enemy is to adhere closely to the constitution. To ensure our rights and freedoms are not infringed on by anyone wanting to dilute and misinterpret those rights. We have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I do not have the right to have you pay for my health care insurance or for my home. I have the right to expect the government to adhere to the constitution or it is the enemy.

- The constitution was a good idea - And who DOESN'T want life, liberty, happiness ?

But it is a fatally flawed document, with an achilles heel - the "war powers provision", which allows a president to [ set aside] the normal constitutionality of freedoms & rights during a state of war or national emergency - giving a president, dictatorial powers.

The U.S. constitution has been suspended since after WW2, and not reinstated !

I'm a hundred miles from there and I say leave them to the military tribunal. This is overkill for no practical reason. They want jobs how about tax and budget cuts. They are detained so why should we make them American citizens in so many respects, this is nothing more than divide and conquer political tactics by the left. There is no valid reason for them in Gitmo then there is no valid reason for them here as if they will love us more and forget their evil ways. Salt on wounds is all we get.
