  • The new legos suck, thay're just cheap good-lookers, no longer can I find mechanicly complicated, functional and educational sets like this one. It's simply a pity it's discontinued.

  • great job 5\5

  • yup the new version is 8053

  • hi can you hjelp me whit the same project

  • is this the older version? the new version is 8053

  • Can you send me the instructions please on how to make 8421 remote control.

  • U have to buy it at lego.com

  • but theres a problem i cant find a place to put the XL-motor to make it drive the crane 1 second ago

i just motorized my crane only with 1 XL-motor about a week ago1 sec ago

sives1pwse you just motorized your crane by putting motors all over the 8421

it probably wasn't ment to be motorized

  • from preston mall in TX DALLAS FRISCO

    8053 is more newer

  • @BraydenXBox360 but hte 8053 sucks compared tho the 8421 beast !

  • i got 8053

  • where did u get this

  • cool

  • how did u connect this

  • first off awesome job!

but... the boom doesn't rotate, and I wonder if you could get all eight wheels to turn and put the pwer and differential on atleast 2 wheels?

  • @jakewood12 For all-wheel steering and drive on steered axles, you'd have to design a larger version of this truck from scratch. The necessary pieces can't fit into this one.

  • That Spider gear is awesome

  • Can you send me the instructions please on how to make 8421 remote control, if you will then I will send you my email in your youtube inbox

  • The only thing left is to motorise the turning of the arm...

  • Mean!!! Open diff looks so sweet.

  • very nice!

  • I'm not sure if you've seen my video... but mine's similar except I couldn't put the boom on after Adding my power functions... I should've put in more time! A couple of your motor placements look similar to mine =)

  • sorry i'm so noob, but, for me that i don't now hot to asemble it, is it easy to put fully automatic? and what about the remote control, is easy to install?

    thanks

  • The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. Don't worry, it's made that maybe not a child, but an older teen can make it.

  • I would NOT put that on the table, lol :)

    Nice work

  • That pretty nice
