@ChetzNation Skyrim takes place in, well, Skyrim, which is a fictional province of the fictional land of Tamriel in the fictional realm of Nirn. Skyrim is heavily based upon the Norse and ancient Norweigan/Swedish lands and times. So a "Swedish" accent is pretty reasonable.

Which might be a bit biased because norwegians have an english accent that sounds almost identical, as our languages are more like two different accents of the same language. The thing is, though, that people usually detest how their own accents sound in other languages, since we associate it with bad pronunciation, rather than just a foreign accent.
