MyGrid doesnt use wireless induction charging, there are small pins on the back of the devices that touch the metal strips on the pad passing power to the device. Induction charging is what the powermat does..

The only thing I dont like is the fact you need to plug in an adaptor to your phone.

Typical charging annoyances for me are going between home and work. I would need a mygrid at work and home in order not to keep swapping the adaptor in and out where a mygrid exists.
