  • Eternal glory who fights against the nazi bestiality!

  • 1:43 - thanks u, MOTHERSSSSS

  • It sounds good. Also I like GPW Partisan Girls. Like Zoya Anatolyevna Kosmodemyanskaya, Kosmodem'yanskaya (Зо́я Анато́льевна Космодемья́нская). In Moscow Metro Station I have had a friend put roses on her statue. You know-- at the Lubyanka Square Station. Plus, it is the best music for this video, artistically.

  • why partisan song?

  • Volodyyy is not a Nazi as you folks here have been trained to think by the history channel. Im sure he lived under the soviet SCUM and knows what americas allies were capable of doing and never got blamed for anything. You folks hail them as heroes but you know nothing of their BARBERIAN Crimes and MURDERS so go ahead and ban folks that speak the truth as it does hurt.

  • @nodarnfool Is a lame Muthafucking Nazi-Liebing Asshole and so is his Nazi Pal Volodyyy!

  • ANOTHER NAZI BANNED...

  • @Scharfschutzen1 NAZIS ARE BANNED HERE AND IN GERMANY - FOR GOOD REASONS! BAN!

  • @Scharfschutzen1 And a liar too....

  • All these Svoloch that call them selves bravy rebyatushki! Ha! Spasibo! Brave women of the world who are undersung from all things common household to great wars. For some of these childish laments are only due to their own fear of something they could never accomplish. Respect to all soldat, here and there Ally or Enemy, one of the toughest jobs, to follow an order to fight for your country without question even when the country may be doing it for wrong reasons.

  • @volodyyy whats your point smart ass?And learn english or either write it in your language!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @steliosslkds LOL!

  • Yes this are soviets aces but in the OUTHOUSE ha ha ha anyone to believe this shits is stupids This was the most HORRIBLES peoples of WWII murder barberians also keep in mind this was not true for lady pilots backs then. Today america has started to have these lady in the air and other country follow but you know this all computer that do the flying she just sit there ever she this ladies when Marine One land she comeit out with more medal than krushchev ha ha

  • @volodyyy Why does this video attract skinhead Nazi idiots?

  • @volodyyy You are just ignorant midget. All visual information provided in this video is true and correct. I know it from inside. Russian.

  • @Scharfschutzen1 Adios, a-hole!

  • @Crashman2 You're a FILTHY Nazi. Look at his Naxi chan...

  • Auf Wiedersehen, KRAUT NAZI! REMEMBER WHO WON THE WAR?

  • @Scharfschutzen1 AND ANDRE88 YOU'RE 1 MORE COMMENT FROM A BAN HERE- I AGREE W/ OUR LADY FLIERS AND SERIOUS HISTORY STUDENTS. I DON'T SEE YOU MAKING VIDEOS ABOUT LITTLE-KNOWN NON-WESTERN SUBJECTS THAT HONOR WW2 HEROES AND HEROINES- Lilya held HER Country's equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor and died at age 23, still fighting. It took 3 Luftwaffe Experten to close a trap on her... and she still almost fought free of it! HANG YOUR HEAD, KID! Thanks for stopping by, firediva4411.- Crash

  • @andre3884071 - Your comments are totally off-topic for this video. Please take them somewhere else. I am a female US Air force veteran and I worship these brave women and the incredible courage far above and beyond the call of duty that they demonstrated. Political arguments here are an insult to their memory. Remember we were allies with the USSR. These women warriors were fighting for the USA as much as any British or French soldier was. Please respect that.

  • A great tribute for this great womans

  • OURRA POBEIDA! OURRA RODINA!

  • eternal glory to all that flying brave beautyful red flowers!!

  • @CHACH208 Greetings, comrade! -))))

    Viva la Revolution!

  • Ok idk get it in the American Revolution women fought even though they are not credited so why arnt there any women fight in WW2 and no i aint stupid im just making a point

  • @CHACH208 Point made and thanks for the comment!

  • @Crashman2 I would even say that there has been no war in history where women didn't fight. How'd you like to be turned over to the Apache women after being captured in a big ambush? I'd rather flip nose-over on landing, slide out, and burn alive with tons of airplane fuel on top of me. They say that's pretty fast... compared to some ways to go. Women just never got any credit, that's all.

  • I feel saddened and sorry for the Soviet Female Aces as I do for the millions of unnecessary deaths of innocnet Red Army Soldiers who gave their lives for the survival of communism and evil Kremlin rather than for freedom, independence and rule of law

  • @jasonbently2003 They fought not for communism! "They fought for their country, their homeland, and for the future!

  • @Araltan1 what country?? Soviet Union or USSR was not a country or homeland - nothing but ideological politicised communal living - communism no better than Fascism with many similarities and both are enemies of freedom and independence - these women did as they were told they did not fight for freedoms and self determination principles or the future but for the preservation of Stalin's Soviet communism and under orders or face firing squad

  • @jasonbently2003 Why such anger?

On your they had to surrender and become slaves to the Nazis?

  • @Araltan1 why didn't they surrender like France, Belgium etc? because that would have meant the end of communism, Stalin and Soviets - What are you talking about? - they were already the "slaves" to Communism and actually committed more mass murders of innocent people than all the Nazis 10 times over - Stalin sacrificed his Red Army into battle against better equipped Nazis Army in totally immoral war which saw many unnecessary millions of soviets die simply to protect communism

  • @jasonbently2003 They did not surrender because they had a heart to fight. When a child I often asked my grannies to tell about this war. And believe it or not (I don't actually care if you don't)) - they fought not for communism or Stalin or "self determination principles", but just for their families, parents and kids. This is a good reason to fight. Try to learn people better before spelling shit on them.

  • @arkonafun80 what nonsense - there was no self determination in Soviet Union, no right of representation Govt or legal - they did not fight for these principles of freedom and independence you moron - Soviet system was totalitarian despotism - people were slaves to the system under terror - what stone did you crawl out from?? - Russians fought for Communism not for freedom because they were ordered to fight for the Soviet - get with the real world

  • @jasonbently2003 How can you bastard know what they were fighting for? You still live under pressure of Reagan-times propaganda. People who fight only out of fear don't win wars. They fought for the future of their children rather than for political abstractions - this is the real world to get with

  • @arkonafun80 what future is that? - communism of course - it was a fight for communism - they didn't fight for freedom or democracy or self determination because after the war they got shit loaded back into the Kolhosps to work like mushrooms for Big Brother - kept in the dark and fed on bullshit

  • @jasonbently2003 the future in this case means being alive. Is it so hard to understand that when your hometown is being bombed and friends or relatives killed the politics is the last thing to bother about? Or do you sincerely believe that millions of Russian soldiers were just brainwashed cattle with no will? I guess most of American, British and French WW2 veterans think different...

  • @arkonafun80 what do you mean by "being alive"??? - Soviet Union fatalities due to WW2 numbered 25 million deaths which would have been GREATLY REDUCED if USSR had surrended - your argument is faulty - Stalin the 20C mass murderer sent millions into an amoral battle against superior forces a la cannon fodder style of battle in attempt to save himself and Soviet communism -

  • @jasonbently2003 being alive means not being slayed by Nazis. It's symptomatic - to call fighting against Nazis "amoral battle". According to your point all those who fought against this plague in Russia, Europe and North Africa were amoral. OR may be you think Nazis were trying to bring democracy and self determination to Russia? Read some history about Hitler's plans concerning Russia. Most of its population was to be eliminated or turned into slavery and only few "germanized"

  • @arkonafun80 Rubbish you talking nonsense again - the Nazis held millions of Soviet POWS in Germany without Killing them and treated them better than the Soviets in Russia - you do some basic reasearch - Soviets actually mass murdered many millions more of their own people, Ukrainians and Belarusians than the Nazis, Poles Mogols and Tartars all put together - what do you mean by "turned into slavery"? - the Russians were already Slaves in Soviet communism during whole of 20C - be real

  • @jasonbently2003 be real? man i'm more real than you can imagine. I guess the evidence of Soviet WW2 POWs is not a reliable source for you, so go find the evidence of Polish, French and other POWs about the REAL treatment of Germans towards the Russians. Don't forget about the Jews - generally they were treated the same

  • @arkonafun80 look rather than waste time harping of pedantic irrelevancies it is nevertheles obvious the perception of German treatment of POW''s is relative - to a Frenchman or westerner it was dismal but to many Russian POW's it was better than Soviet Red Army - I know I had spoken to many ex POW's - fortunately the Russians and Allies were spared the atrocious Jew slaughter - Russia has a notable history of Genocide of Ukrainians which make the German death camps look amateurish by comparison

  • @jasonbently2003 Gogle "Vlasov Army", "Vlasov Division", add "hilfsfreiwilliger", "Hiwi" and "Komissarbefehl". Complex facts here. The Ukraine was fighting the Kremlin, too.

  • @Crashman2 well it only prove that Ukrainians perceived themselves as enemies of Communist Russia which underlies Stalin's contempt for Ukrainian Nationalism - he is quoted at saying Ukrainians gave him the worst trouble of his carreer

  • @jasonbently2003 No argument here. Stalin caused a HUGE famine in Uke to punish them ALL- and the Ukraine is the "breadbasket of Russia!" In the Ukraine you'd get shot from either direction or "drafted"as a "Nazi "Hilfsfreiwilliger" / "Free-will-helper" OR shot as a Uke nationalist OR just for being there. GREAT stuff. Too bad the Russ blew up Chernobyl with their own stupidity after making SURE it got built near the Ukranian capital. And are there REALLY Stalinists here? Or just morons?

  • @Crashman2 yes they are morons thank you - their blinded by propaganda

  • Please, where is the place on 2:06. ty

  • @medkit1

    Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd(formerly Stalingrad).

  • @princevqas is now BANNED from this chan for his childish overuse of the F-Word and his general ignorance.

  • @Crashman2 Yes, thanks; he had to go, if only for his atrocious prose and lack of wit.

  • @bigmandrel Yes, the mouse droppings are now swept away...

  • @princevqas Unless you are better than 1 dozen experienced Luftwaffe fighter pilots, you would not even SURVIVE your FIRST encounter with one of these women. Ground-crawler! (shaking head) .

  • all praise to the russian women of world war two, thank you being wonderfully allied

with us in defeating a vicious foe like Germany and Japan.

  • @majorgeeek I don't consider myself educated. To me, educated means you got into 2 Ivy League schools.

  • @MaoiMeowi2 To me, educated means holding a Doctorate. Do you, you snot-brat?

  • @MaoiMeowi2 Suck my doctorate and stop hassling my audience. You are BANNED!

  • @MaoiMeowi2 If that is your definition of "education" then you need to revise your definition.

  • @dm1968r just in case you didn't notice this website is English language - not interested in your Russian propaganda

  • @majorgeeek So go watch videos pertaining to the ENGLISH SPEAKING WORLD, dipshit.

  • @MaoiMeowi2 the point is It makes no sense contributing in Russian language on English website - mutually ununintellibible languages - why not find a Russian website if you prefer Russian language commie numbnuts

  • @majorgeeek Add "index?gl=RU&hl=ru" to the end of YouTube's home URL (without quotes). This is a MULTILINGUAL website.

  • @dm1968r spoken like a true STALINIST mass murderer -

  • la mayoria tienen cara de que te la arrancan de una mordida (y)

  • You bet baby- Thrundering Guns Over Stalingrad! With Spielberg as The Wimpy Jewish Kid with Glasses. !

  • Now here's a story for Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks to tell!!

  • @Kagetora2010

Indeed. But unfortunately they are well aware such movie would make no money. Why? Americans are only interested in movies about their own soldiers.

Also in Spielberg's mind all German soldiers were fanatical nazis, so I don't see how he would be able to make a movie which would do any foreign fighting force justice.

  • @McLarenM happen to be a Military Historian who has studied that conflict since childhood. I had family in that war. Our family had many a friend and neighbor in that war. I had a classmate growing up whose grandmother had a number tattooed on her arm courtesy of the Allgemeine SS.

So you know Spielberg's mind, do you? Funny, but when I watched SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, I saw depictions of German and their auxiliary soldiers acting in a manner consistent with accounts of those who fought them

  • @Kagetora2010

What conflict are you speaking of? The German-Soviet war? That was the most brutal theatre of the conflict, and I stand firm in my belief Spielberg has little interest in depicting that part of WW2, he is too busy showing us how the Americans won WW2 singlehandedly when they invaded France in 1944, like in the movie you mention.

So you being a military historian AND having family that were in the war AND friends and neigbors of your family in the war AND a classmate whose >>>

  • @Kagetora2010

    >>>grandmother was in a nazi death camp makes you more qualified than if you just had been a military historian? Wasn't that part more than enough?

First of all the Germans are portrayed as cold, emotionless nazis. When they decide to spare the life of a German, surprise surprise he comes back to kill them since he is a Waffen SS soldier and a fanatical nazi to boot. The moral of the story is:"Don't spare the life a German because they all are nazis".

  • @McLarenMercedes Was it more than enough? I don't know, you tell me. >;D

  • @Kagetora2010

If I want to watch a movie about German soldiers in WW2 I'll watch a German movie, which portrays them like humans. Stalingrad(1993) is a good example. Das Boot(1981) another. Then there's Sam Peckinpah's "The Iron Cross", which although not German it also doesn't portray all Germans as nazis with no faces

The fact remains.American movie goers don't give a shit about other countries' wars

I also doubt you're really a military historian.Just mentioning that movie disqualifies you

  • @McLarenMercedes Stalingrad and Das Boot are excellent films, yes, and The Iron Cross is decent enough... *And* you're arguing your own bias which smacks of simple anti-Americanism, condemning us all with a broad brush stroke, and condemning me for mentioning a film that depicted German soldats and American G.I.s in a more nuanced fashion than you've thus far admitted to.

You don't have to believe anything I write if that suits you, but denial is still not a river in Egypt.

  • I wish there was more video on the Great Patriotic War between Russia and Germany but I don't think many people had the time to take many pictures. If they did I heard you just would see a lot of smoke anyway. There were many great hero's in that war in western Russia .

  • Those girls deserve the highest respect from the world.

  • soviet and nazis were both the definitive enemies of free and insependent Ukraine - soviet aces fought for the survival of communism and not for freedom and self determination......

  • @prabbit68 you sir, should be thankful they fought period, you may have been speaking German today, had they not, "I have spoken"

  • they are womans with BIG BIG balls

  • 0:59 cute!!!!!!! i'd let her be my wingwoman! =P, ussr rocked, cant argue with that!

  • My grandfather killed 3 BF 109 on LA-7

  • Sorry, but you used the song in the Civil War in Russia (1918-1923) to your video about the Second World War (1939-1945).

  • By my own choice and so credited, ponemajo? You are 100% free to make a better vid.

  • @Crashman2 You're right, it's your choice. But this historical inaccuracy. :-)

  • @Putnik0000 I went for its power...

  • Храший! На Красавыца про Война. Beautiful women of war.

Of darkness age, all coming to an end

Prepare for life, you must prepare for fighting. Слава России!

  • 1: 58 By steel we have finished the enemy,

By labour will we get bread :)

  • 5) They had beaten the Atamans

    Driven away the Voyevodas,

    And accomplished their raid

    At Pacific Ocean shore

  • 4) So will they remain like in a myth,

Like fires glaring in the night,

    Those assault nights at Spassk,

    Volochaevo days' might

  • 3). Those days' glory never will be silent

    Never will it fade away

That the figther groups were storming

    Those towns on their way

  • 2). Their banners were waving

Silk red like last wounds' blood

    Valiant squadrons advanced

    Those of the Red Partisans

  • Translation (my own and 5-minutes, please don't blame me :)

    So:

1). Thru the ravines and the seahores

    A division went on march

Their task was to force Primorye,

    A stronghold of White Army

  • Хорошую работу, спасибо!

  • Не проблема. Некоторые дурачки здесь думают что ДРУГИЕ союзники ушибают Nazis но мы знаем правду в времени. Pravda and Vremya - спасибо!!!!

  • Низкий поклон и вечная память.

    Руссофобы идут нахуй.

  • funny fact:

few people know about the father of Lydia Litvyak who was executed

as a result of massive pre-war Stalinist repression. Despite this fact Lydia went to war and died in 22 years.

  • Yes. Her body was not found until 1983. It was under the wing of her crashed Yak (Yellow-3) where she had dragged herself, mortally wounded in the crash. She had 11+ kills and it took 3+ ME 109s to down her.. KHOROSHO!

  • Beautiful song!

  • I just hope when these fine women came back to Russia after the war that Stalin and the Russian leadership did not arrest and kill them for some frivolous crime.

Many Russian soldier patriots who came back from Germany were put into Gulags and killed because of Stalin's sick paranoia. WHY the Russians allowed Stalin and other corrupt Russian leaders do all these sick things to Russian patriots is beyond me.

  • Most died in the war against the Europeans

  • What do you mean 'allowed'?

  • How many billions of poles the soviets killed? and personally Comrade Stalin?

My iedntity is Soviet and I am proud of it.

Eternal Glory to Heroes and Heroines!

  • Fuck you and your revisionist lies!

  • I adore soviet airforce in WW2 and aspatioly female pilots. To bad its forgotten. Mostly brittish pilots in battle of britain get the credith. Do you know the name of the lass at 1:31? Thanks. 5 stars.

  • 1:31 is Marina Raskova

  • Great photos and music!

The Soviet People fought with great valor against the invading Nazis.

To bad Stalin murdered more of his own people than did the Nazi invaders.

Tens of millions died in his slave labor gulag.

  • ALL True.

  • yes you're right

  • Thats all BS western propaganda, the people sent to the gulag were rotten traitors, criminals, rapists, and murderers-Stalin was a good man,My family lived under Stalin times and I know from my grandparents there were no problems with Stalin at all!

  • I grew up in a communism country and currently happily residing in USA. I love history and love to sift through the eastern and western propaganda to find truth.

Here it is what I learned,

Yes, Stalin and the political machine he and others stood for DID commit crime such as violate human rights etc.

Yes, it is also true that the West exaggerate him and his act to benefit themselves.

Therefore, always be careful with propaganda not only in the East but in the West too.

  • @Katoolie Stalin - hero

  • @andre3084471 ya cause killing 12 million people is never a factor

  • @eagleclawproduction1 nonsense

  • @andre3084471 ok then some one else's policies must have done it and all stalin did was approve of them - ignorant

  • @eagleclawproduction1 a lie about Stalin - an integral part of the lie about Russia and Communism

  • @andre3084471 ok then - so one the man who killed 2x more people then hitler gets off scott free, listen communism is a fantasy ad fact is capitalism works don't believe me - USA capitalist and a very wealthy nation, china introduced free market reforms and is now a pretty wealthy country, north korea ( I rest my case ) and it's not communism but its farm policy which kills

  • Comment removed

  • @eagleclawproduction1 by the way about the US economy has not been growing for 50 years. The level of life in the united STATES 50 years ago was the unattainable dream for any country, and the U.S. is now already in the middle of the list. Value US in the world falls at breakneck speed.

  • @Katoolie Tragedy all around. Russia's never been different. Ever.

  • Respect for the red army heroes!!!!

  • does someone know the lyrics of this song?

  • I am told it is the "Song of the Partisans" and is much older than the Great Patriotic War, it dates back to the Original Russian Revolution of 1918. But it's of course in Russian, I can't translate it. Can any Russian-speakers here translate for us? Spasebo, tovarisch!

  • In memoriam of all beautiful women who fought against nazi invasion! Slava!

  • I think the beauty of women doesnt matters in the fight agaisnt nazism, their minds and their hearths are the important

  • True.

  • Beauty by deed then.

  • what kind of planes those ladies were given?

did the comanders gave them modern yak 9

    or p-39 aircobra?

  • They was flyed on PO-2(Polikarpov-2)-kukuruznik and was flied in the night, because Po-2 is silent. And the enemy called them night witches. About this exist movie Nebesniy tihohod.

  • 1979: Searchers find a crash site on a farm near Dmitrievka and are told a woman pilot had been buried there & was moved in July 1969 to a common grave. The doctors only say that the pilot had been a short woman and had sustained a head injury. March 31, 1986: USSR Ministry of Defense confirms that the woman pilot who crashed near Dmitrievka had to be Litvyak. 1988: Litvyak's name is placed on the common grave. Her records are changed from missing to killed in action, 1 Aug 1943.

  • cheers thanks. was the grave buried or skeliton.under the wing.

    she was one gal.ACE.

    TJ

  • Her body and aircraft were not found during the war, but a marble monument was erected in her memory in Krasny Luch, in the Donetsk region. Litvyak had completed 168 missions, and had 3 shared victories in addition to her personal twelve. She was 22 years old.

Her remains were found in 1979, buried under her fallen YaK-1's wing, near Dmitriyevka. 10 yrs later her body was recovered for official burial; and in May 5, 1990 she was posthumously conferred the title of Hero of the Soviet Union

  • QUESTION WERE IS LILYA LATS BODY OR GRAVE

were his it .any photos etc on the net.

    terry

  • Is it just me or the russian army had some real hotties flying?

  • The Russian country in general has "some real hotties", as you put it.

  • hotties and great aces too.

    tj

  • GERMANS MIGHT TOO AND USA AND WE.

    TJ

  • From what I understand, Russia's top female ace of the war, served 3 years in Nazi concentration camp, then when she was rescued served another 5 years in the gulag because Stalin didn't trust the POWs.

  • Russians should always be proud of their history and country no matter what... the 'west' never likes to praise Russia because it is jealous but during ww2 it was the Soviet Union and the Russians that gave hope to the whole world that Hitlers murder machines could be stopped and the women in these photos were just a few of the greatest heroes.

  • not enough is said about all the female soldiers in the Red Army during ww2... they were in every branch not just airforce. It would be great material for some kind of world war 2 movie I think - it would be extremelly powerfull stuff emotionally I think.

  • Much respect for russians women who fight in ww2!

  • This is a geatest video on youtube!congratulation!!!!!!!!!!

  • im not a commie or nazi, those are just flags but i really have respect for those brave german & russian men who fought in ww2 because of hitler, churchill & stalin kids fight

  • Thank you for this wonderful video, dear Crashman! I wish more people would learn about brave girls (the night witches) who dared to fly those PO-2s. I saw one PO2 - it's like made of carton!Should be really scary to fly in that wooden box with a bomb on your lap.

  • but most of them flew YAK aircraft..

  • No, I was referring only to "Night Witches" - "Ночные ведьмы" - полк ночных бомбардировщиц, они летали только на ПО.

  • great video!***************

  • I like this song -and video awesome!!!

  • Great video!!!

    in tribute to Soviet women

1 thing i think its the song of White army in civil war but its still very emotional

  • Correct- it's the "Partisan's Song" that dates back to at least 1918. I used it because it sounds so fantastic!
