While the media do jump on the war bandwagon, they notoriously put those right of center under a more powerful microscope. They do this because they assume all Republicans are religious and therefore have to be outed when they do wrong.

The media only supported the war when it believed the evidence that the government was supplying. As soon as the information turned out to be wrong, they turned on the administration.

This whole idea of censorship is irrelevant. These are private businesses, not the government.
