oh my god buddy...i couldn't have put it better myself...i saw that tour in Montreal...actually it might have been just off the island on rt. 30??? my first hip show that night came within hours of being discharged from the ARMY. CHANGED MY LIFE, TOO. i couldn't believe how INSANE the crowd was...until i was swept up in it myself!! STILL a HUGE fan!! Peace from Essex, Ny
I would have to agree, I was 15 when this came out and its as memorable as Nevermind, Ten, Melloncollie and the Infinate sadness. In my opionion this was their peak, Trouble at The Hen House was great followup.
where have the '90s gone?

Hearing this played at Another Roadside Attraction in 95 was one of the defining concert moments of my life.

Also turn it 500 times louder than what you hear now and stand in a 40,000 people crowd and jump around and then you will know what im talking about.

The Tragically Hip as beautiful symbiotic combination of Charles Dickens and Led Zeppelin.

Day for Night is as good a record as OK Computer, Nevermind, Sgt. Pepper's, Rust Never Sleeps, or friggin' Beethoven's Ninth
but you and I already knew that, didn't we ;)

This video is by Bob Lanois (that's him in the beginning) and filmed at "the shack". Love it. Thanks for posting.

Ahhhhhh, another classic. "...I saw your hands melt into one another I saw you grieve and grow
care a lot about one another..." - poetry in motion. Thanks Gordo.

Good Raw album. I like the "off the floor" production.
