  • Hi hi! Have you considered - fast abs magic (google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my sister got really defined Six pack abs and lost a ton of fat with it.

  • Wow is this guy annoying.....stop talking and workout damn.

  • Would you please stop using P90X as a comparisson for Fatloss. Fatloss is not the aim of P90X, the aim is strength, and TACFIT is body activation/enhancement.

Fatloss lifestyle is brilliant but please stop compairing it to things that arent fatloss related.

  • are you john cena's dad

  • good result but that move is in yoga x

  • @wrusst sorry its slightly different as its done in downward dog

  • I like it. Impressive results

  • dudeee pleasee dont..dont say that..you havent made a progam that works beter than p90x.p90x is and has changed lifes literaly lifes, across the country.and it works because its a sysem.not just a work out dvd.its a system with a schedule and nutriion plan for all sorts of ppl. a man jeremy yost, 370 pounds.lost 180 in about9 months.you cant beat that.you cant beat the results.and you cannottt beat tony horton and his awsome personality.dumbells and pull up bar all u need forp90x= RESULTS!!

  • I'll take a free book please :)

  • Excellent video.....and yes....WAY better than Tony Hortons videos!!!! You are UN-FREAKEN BELIEVABLE!! ;)

  • Excellent video.....and yes....WAY better than Tony Hortons videos!!!! You are UN-FREAKEN BELIEVABLE!! ;)

  • I love it.. High- performance

  • THIS IS AMAZING O_o

  • was wondering if you could do a fast meal series, not looking for beans and salsa meals, but small meals that a novice can cook to loose weight and feel better

  • mark doesnt look like he's got a rip body. i guess this exercise is inferior to p90x. :(

  • Nobody cares that you love Twatter

  • You Can't See Me!

  • hi there Darin.

i have been doing your 3 3 3 timing for chin ups. i do get pains at the lats this way!

but what's your take on bigger chest...?

it seems that my arms (biceps and triceps) are bigger, but chest looks relatively small.

i noticed Mark, your client has this problem too.

    (i might be wrong)

  • picture looks nothing like him in the video

  • P90 is a Personal Defense Weapon, a cross between an assault rifle and a submachine gun :P

  • Swear that demonstrator "mark" had huge tris but like small shoulders chest back and bis. Weird.

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BEARS

  • were you sick lol

  • p90x sucks...all the info you are paying for, all the exercises they show you, you can find on net...i would not pay a dime for p90x..they have a catch info commercial targeting at people who have no idea about their body and how to work out...WHAT DO THEY SAY, BRING THE X...SO GAY.

  • What is the book about? Is it basic and advanced info about nutrition, or about this program you were just telling us about?

  • this is a classic pilates exercise

  • SCOOBY DOES ALL OF THIS FOR FREE :L

  • this whiteboy's tripping if he thinks he can beat the P90x

  • o shit that means weed is ok....just gotta eat carrots when we get the munchies

  • wow, I need to see this book

  • how can i get ur book?

  • How would I go about getting your book?

  • great work out, i just did it. Thanks for helping me throw a twist in my work out routine.

  • ab exercises, do i lose fat from stomac or it is only for the abs?

  • @per520 You don't pick where fat works off of your body... around the stomach is one of the last places it gets gone from. Guys and girls put on fat and lose fat slightly different as well... so my answer is gain a healthy lifestyle, not some fad diet with exercise and your waist will get thinner.

I like Daren's approach and I subscribe to him for new exercise ideas to add to my repertoire.

  • I would like your book for free also. Can you please send it

  • i want your book for free!!!

  • ahahahah his dude mark looks weird... LIek a mutant

  • 2 to 3 hours a week. my jaw dropped. steen ur awesome but i think thats bullshit

  • i dont doubt it. there is a big misconception that more time in the gym = better results. this isnt necessarily true. workouts should be somewhat short but INTENSE. eat right and sleep well and your body will take care of itself.

  • @wideningeye i agree with you but i also see just the opposite when you see pro athletes that spend hours and hours every single day in the gym training. they look awesome and excel at their sports. olympian athletes train upwards of 10 hours a day. look at michael phelps. i know he isnt a great bodybuilder but when he cut down and trains long hard hours he is ripped to hell and back and also has the gold medals to prove the long hours pay off.

  • @wideningeye to be honest... i hear all the time people talk about shorter but intense... i have yet to ever see anybody in any sport or bodybuilding training to train under an hour plus cardio on top of that for an hour or so a day. i agree that his program can be better than p90x bc p90x is wasted intensity to complete only a few reps on a lot of exercises so it doesnt even stimulate the muscles let alone be able to go long enough for it to be cardio training. and high impact at that

  • @MrRanger1987 o dont get me wrong though. i know what you mean and i agree. but those are professional athletes with elite trainers, nutrition plans, etc. for the average joe such as myself? well i like to kick my ass in the gym a few hours a week, eat well, and get plenty of sleep. and im loving the results.

  • I wonder if Darin EVER has a bad day

    rofl

  • Thats an awesome exorcise.

  • whachu talking about. yeah he doesnt have much of chest or back, but he has some pretty good arms

  • OOOOOOOKKKKKKKKK. If you say so.

  • You can't stay tan all year! lol... he is white you big goof and by no means looks like his before photo.

  • nah its cause, he probably istn' workign otu as hard . He is just maintaining

  • "He high jumped 7 frigging 2, 3 times in a meet. Un frigging believable" LMAO lol. I love this guy.

  • P90X is, dollar for dollar, the best fitness investment you can make. I know that using a trainer can possibly yield better/quicker results than P90X...especially for specific sports-related performance. But they cost too much and trainers make people dependent on them to keep their mind right.

But nothing will work long term if your mind isn't right permanently. Thus, I suggest Psycho Cybernetics.

FYI: Don't buy P90X directly from their (crooked) distributors. Buy from amazon or ebay.

  • It's ironic how trainers love to show exercises then talk a little about how important it is to eat well.

Eating well *is* the magic bullet to a healthy lifestyle. Whether you want to live long, build muscle, jump high, etc. The food you eat is the most critical part of your lifestyle. And over 30, the need for healthy food grows exponentially.

How about a video of going through a grocery store and cooking? You might sell more memberships!

  • this guys triceps are insane. its madness

  • thanks for the instruction and motivation!

  • That was really good, keep it up

  • Personally, it sounds like you are using the name quality of P90x to hype your stuff. The workout you showed is very similar to many things that P90x/P90x+ does, so what exactly are you giving that is better? P90x provides DVDs that I can continuously hit play on and Tony Horton is the one trainer that I could work out to day and night. I have no problem with you challenging the program, but if you are going to do that - provide your contrasts because I see nothing in this video to that end!

  • Because I am limited by space restraints here; I have put a 5 paragraphs in the "info" body of the video above;

    I do believe that my system is not only better than Tony Hortons, PX90;

I know that it is the most time efficient; results orientated, safest fitness / fatloss system on the market today.

    You do have the power to change;

    darin steen

  • I agree with themango69 to a degree. I went through P90X and am in the middle of P90X Plus as well. I came here because I'm always looking for a new challenge. I think you can provide different variations to do that. You may have a point to compounding exercises to work more core. This is what the plus version does as well. However, I worry the more complicated moves using weights have a higher chance of causing injury. It's more important to have proper form while no one is there to ensure it.

  • @fatlosslifestyle i really would prefer your program than px90

  • @fatlosslifestyle

The dates on the papers..thats about 18 months..if you did 6 rounds of p90x...you would have even better results than what was seen on that paper

  • @fatlosslifestyle WILL U REALLY SEND IT FOR FREE THAT BE GREAT I LOVE UR VIDS THX

  • @fatlosslifestyle wow man that's a bold statement. i'm intrigued. can your program be purchased anywhere or is it sold directly from you? about how long are your workouts? i know hortons are a freaking hour long. they're great workouts but to give an hour a day for some of us who work around 40 hours a week is unlikely. i mean i have time to workout most days, but i have other things going on :P

  • And you sound like you worship Tony Horton as a cult leader.

  • looks great i am going to try it , thanks.

  • so doin this would get me rip abs? n cut the bellyfat?...... naa

  • send over that book! :)

  • Very cool Darin.

  • I see you didn't mention the one true God of fitness in the list of people you will put your program against: Jack LaLanne. Ever try one of those one-handed Jack pushups? Now THAT's a core workout. Still, you're definitely #2.

  • Jack LaLanne is the best being he is 94 years old and still doing 2 hour a day workouts.

  • cool vid lol gonna try that later thanks=)

  • he has ripped abs lol

  • who has a potbelly? him?

check out his website and you'll see his abs its awesome.

  • Awesome!

  • Another variant is doing the plank on your elbows, then knee tucking to each elbow with a pause at maximum deflection.

  • i tryed it and it was awkward but i guess i got a burn.

  • Nice job =]
