  • This video kicks ass!!!!

  • SWEET SG & STRAT !

  • rob is openly gay,no doubts.it makes me cringe a bit but who can argue with the music?listen to delivering the goods or rapid fire etc

  • @daverockerdd

You're absolutely correct. We should leave his personal life outta things and appreciate him for the #1 singer / frontman that he is.

  • Super!!! :-)

  • Glenn looks like Steve Harris lol

  • they look like gay

  • @noem1313 wtf do you listen to? nickelback?

  • @noem1313 What a stupid comment. Everyone had long hair in the 70s, and besides, all metal bands had long hair then!

  • @Ammoniumbicarbonat LOL, that might not have been a stupid comment. I do believe Rob Halford is in fact gay. Not that it matters, he did turn out good music and for the record their hair styles changed going into the eighties and so on and so on.

  • @noem1313 you are absolutely correct as far as the lead singer is concerned. Rob Halford is possibly gay and did make a cameo appearance in the movie Spun as a cashier in a porn shop reading a gay men's adult magazine. Good call LOL!

  • @shaithis80 ellinas???

  • @noem1313 ????

  • Comment removed

  • i think i have a vinyl record worth money on the back they did not spell robs name right it said bob halford

  • THEIR BEST SONG ON THEIR FIRST ALBUM

  • хуясе буги!!!

  • What the F**K is KK wearing..

  • back when the band was known as loyal saint

  • Bell-bottomed trousers..OMG..JP's change in few years is incredible (studs,leather,etc.)! :-O

  • WTF!! That´s a hippie longa hair!! :p

  • rock rolla judas fuckinnn priest!

    im crazy for this band

  • > Rocka rolla / Hellrider, where > is "from this:" and / is "to the mothaffucking and amazing"......AWESOME EVOLUTION

  • este material es clasico!!

  • Glen could never sing. No wonder they ended that with Stained Class.

  • @magick1969 He does backing vocals live, along with KK when he was still with the band. he also does all the vocals on his solo albums.

  • Ian looks like a hippie caveman.

  • Classic Priest!

  • omg...michael cera with long hair

  • Iron Maiden + Judas Priest + Pink Floyd + other Rock N Roll = Hope for the future

  • what???

Such high quality video in '74 ?

  • Close your eyes and listen. 1974. The vocal and guitar play will hold up forever. Picture your best foreplay and orgasim. Vocals and guitar. J.P. knows how to join the two. Thanks J.P. from all of us.

  • that's pretty awesome guitar work

  • Hippies!

  • Golden Years, The beginning of this fabulous band

    JUDAS PRIEST!

  • I love the story of how Rob joined the band. Chance encounters and great choices...Worked out great imo!

  • Rob with hair....wow.....I'm only 19 but I still feel old cause I first heard this song when I was 6....

  • Id like to tell ya somethings. Rocka Rolla is not bad song at all, but if you compare R.R with Paranoid or Children of the grave for example, so Para is much more heavy than Rocka Rolla. Glenn and Rob werent so experienced as Ozzy or Tony lommi at that time......thats why some people dont like R.R LP, but it still matures......

  • if they only knew that they would become gods of rock, legends...

  • BECK

  • rob halford with long hair

    Oo WTF

    but a very good song

  • @TheDungeonDudes isnt long hair better?

  • its so wierd how this was played almost 40 years ago time flies man

  • LEGENDS just LEGENDS best metal band EVER, hands down, HAIL judas priest thank you for 40 years of amazing music, im 15 years old and judas priest is my favorite band of all time!! hail rob halford!

  • who's Robert Plant? just kidding

I think Judas Priest is the best band.

  • He looked like Beck.

  • This gets better every time I hear it

  • Rob has long hair!

  • @MetalMessiah919 And he's dressed like Robert Plant!!! O.O

  • i like the first album the best

  • coolest gay dude on this planet

  • @MrTwistedBrains your a jackass sucker.

  • i watch this at least twice a day

  • @rmarcontell years*

  • ROCK N ROOOOOOL!

  • Who's the dude under the fadora?

  • @futureseven it's KK, who else would it be?

  • @magnum482 I suppose. I knew someone was under there.Lol

  • @futureseven KK Downing.

  • Not 1974 but April 25, 1975 at the Old Grey Whistle Test show...

  • OLD TIMES YEEEAAAHHH

  • jopeeeeeeeee que pintas pero que buenos

  • 0:37

    Glenn singing higher than Rob

  • @magnum482 lol, no. That was a weak falsetto.

  • At 0:56, Rob smells a fart obviously.

  • thanks KK !

  • when Judas Priest were interesting...

  • @nazzare79 politely said :-)

  • para q no piensen q judas priest era bueno desde q empezo a sacar heavy metal mas pesado desde su primer disco eran buenos en esos estilos q bien yeah!!!!

  • If you like this album and it got you to start listening to judas priest then you're a real priest fan. FUCK THOSE WHO NEVER LISTENED TO THIS CLASSIC AND CLAIM THEY ARE BIG PRIEST FANS

  • @cantstopwontstop310 WORD! I actually go as far as to say that I like their classics more because it's rather hardrock compared to their later metal work

  • @breitsch Yeah, not just that but if you realize Rob is a gay man and when he joined priest he used his poems for his lyrics which had a lot of meaning and truth behind it. Now their metal stuff is more raw and crazy. It's still good but it doesn't compare to the '70s priest we all know and love

  • Ian Hill´s Bass is well audible in every Judas`s song but @frelvis77 is deaf, he only listen to the sound of his ass..

  • Just one bad ass song!!

  • Dude, it's fucking modern heavy metal in 1974. Cool.

  • rob halbord!with hair!wicked

  • Did he say tampon igniter at 2:01?

  • @shaffer2112 Yes i came up whith that years ago lol finally im being understood

  • @shaffer2112 TAMPON IGNITOR!!!!!!!! that's fucking hilarious! No it's "Ten pint a nighter"

  • October 2011 coming to Seattle!! I love how the camera kept missing the guitar solo(s) until after they were almost done. Glen and K.K are great. Gonna miss K.K in seattle

  • rob was a genious for joining priest !

  • im sory but i think this is their worst song, i love all their other but not this one

  • @mosspaw1229 Their one and Only Bad song is "Breaking the law"

  • @fredespanish dude, that song was amazing

  • @mosspaw1229 nah....

  • @fredespanish yeah...

  • @mosspaw1229 nah....

  • Thought they were amazing then as they are now. I'm no spring chicken but have seen them in the early 80'S many time's and they still deliver great music. You realize your getting old and no one seem's to care.

  • FUCKING JUDAS PRIEST!!! ARE AMAZING!!

  • rob looks bad ass with his hair

  • Were's the leather and spikes ?

  • @Spidermankevin78 That came about 5 years after this.

  • @rmarcontell

    Besides THAT ...!

Thanks to every group member was/current in Judas Priest for all the good memories

    JP FOREVER

  • Bass lines.. FULL POWER!!!

    Beautiful!!!!

  • BEST SHIT EVER

  • is Halford wearing Lemmy's shoes?

  • The most amazing thing about this, is that my name is Rocka :)).<3.

  • 1 idea: uuu nice guy, who is he? Wait it's Rob's voice! Wow it's Rob with long hair I LOVE THIS!!

2 idea: Heh nice solo, and nice Rob's dancing style, but why they wear hippie cloths, WOW where is leather and black!

Long hair OK, colourful cloths... No Way :>

  • @jpp16PL this is early judas priest in my opinion they did their best albums looking like this

  • @billgeezeriommi yeah I and everyone by looking on them will say it is early Judas Priest.

  • No mames que look tan chingón!! A huevo Judas Priest es la verga!

  • halford looks great with long hair..i wonder if......no forget about it.no way

  • I WANT EXACTLY THE SAME TOPS AS THEIRS!! SO GLAM!! ;D

  • Julian Assange.

    Rocka Rolla.

  • fucking hell look more like hippes than metal legends still awsome though cant help but love priest

  • @ozzyblyth amen brotha

  • Damn Hippies LOL!!!!!!

  • good tune

  • they should have done the lether look but it would look cooler if rob still kept his long hair

  • ahaha Halford looks like an ugly middle aged woman, but the song ia great

  • Just like early Deep Purple, this just SOUNDS aggressive, even though by modern standards, it's positively tame! The entry into the first chorus is tight! Great song! Still better than most of the waffle on the radio today!!!

  • @njgorrell Yeah but the only reason it isn't as heavy is because the stuff on the radio now is just yelling and it gives the listener the feeling that it is heavier but really it is untalented garbage for the most part. Some of it is good but most of it is crap. Judas Priest is fucking epicly awesome. If you want extremely heavy listen to Painkiller and Defenders of the Faith. Ps Judas Priest is my third favorite band and Nazareth is my absolute favorite. PRIEST IS FUCKIN AWESOME METAL GODS!!

  • Just like early Deep Purple, this just SOUNDS aggressive, even though by modern standards, it's positively tame! The entry into the first chorus is tight! Great song! Still better than most of the waffle on the radio today!

  • the band that made everyone that listened to them commit suicide

  • aaaaaaaa?????

  • funk!!!!!!

  • Holy shit, they were kinda like hippies back then. Sounds good though.

  • wow this is good quality for 1974 film

  • haha I can't stop laughting.... they look really funny:P I would rather them in leather. Rob's hair... ;D

  • KK's outfit's quite funny:)

  • 2:00

    Barroom fighter .. TAMPON IGNITER

  • And its amazing of thinking that scorpions and judas priest were the pionners of power metal!yes the y were!Just listen to the two first power metal songs of all time...hes a woman shes a man by scorpions in 77 and judas priest exciter!!the fast and heavy riff that we all love!and of course great high notes and screams (octaves) by klaus meine and rob halford babe!

  • c'mon this is legacy.Judas priest and Scorpions are metal legends. They create the comlete sound of the "heavy metal" music in 70"s and 80"s and they keep it up in the early 90's.Both of them have ballads and hard and heavy songs.Of course now there are many heavier bands (like the nu metal stuff) but i tell you that the cant beat the original spirit of metal that priest and scorps promoted back then.

  • This sounds like spinal tap

  • It's funny but I never realized how much they and the Scorpions sounded alike back then .

  • @HotRodSixString Both bands were great but the only similarity is they both have guitarists that studied meticulously & have rare composing talent, Scorps -R Schenker, M. Schenker, U. Roth & to a lesser extent Jabbs (I like Jabbs but he is not in the same class ) Priest- Glen Tipton is amazing & Downing is a good complimentary player. Their only similarity is they both are metal gods that compose great music

  • @LordGandor3 Well Scorpions main genere is Hard Rock Ballads, they are not such a Metal band, but they are so damned good!!!

  • @Orion28296 Scorpions call them selves a "German HeavyMetal band". These days there are bands that are heavier but the term was originally used in the 70`s Yes they do have alot of ballads & even Judas Priest has at least one ballad per album Both Bands rock my world !

  • Rob did not have the sex appeal of Robert Plant!

  • @hatmap speak for yourself sister....

  • Good to see Priest in their formative days doing the hard rock/proto-metal thing. Their outfits are crackin me up though. Looks like they fell into a Skynyrd's wardrobe closet and couldnt get out in time before the show.

  • @SouthOCmixdown nice!

  • KK the pimp. Winning.

  • wow im a fucking idiot

  • Would be funny if they did a live show today and came out dressed like this again! :D

  • @outlaw6066 i dont think that would work well, but i think rob should have kept his hair long.

  • Judas priest?? halford has hair! this looks like your average glam metal band, never saw them like this before

  • nooooooo

    halford con pelo largo¡¡¡

y el de los coros es glen?????

    no me muero loco¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

    ese es kk ???????

  • nooooooo

    halford con pelo largo¡¡¡

y el de los coros es glen?????

    no me muero loco¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • rob gives me the creeps in this vid

  • ROB HAS HAIR IN THIS VIDEO.

    ...Wow. Just, wow. :'D

  • No one can begrudge Rob or Priest for their success. These guys worked their asses off to make it big. Incredible how hard they rock here and they were so poor financially in 1975 and didn't know if they could keep going, but they kept at it.

  • this isnt ROB singing this song...this whole album was by david spade....

  • @crazyiskeith

    the hell it isnt

  • You are watching the very early evolution of Heavy Metal and its a beautiful thing \m/

  • Weird but beautiful: they look like zepp twins ;)

  • The most amazing thing about this, besides Rob's hair, is that you can actually hear Ian Hill's bass.

  • @frelvis77 BASS POWER!!!

  • @frelvis77 Yeah, right? The the great thing about live. You can hear everyone clear as a bell. That's why most of my favorite albums are recorded essentially live.

  • @frelvis77 Excellent, a person who respects to the bass players!!

  • @frelvis77 man you can always the Hill`s bass in each funckin Judas Priest song. all time sounds but may be you do not listen to it...

  • @Yosimar Seems like 39 people agree with me, when you get the top rated comment you may argue with me, until then, STFU!

  • @frelvis77 who care if 39 people with you, is that election for president? or is an enquiry? if the other 39 bastards can not think by themselves is their business, but the bass always sound,, i hope you understand fool on the hill...

  • @Yosimar Where did you learn your English man? Anyway, try and find the bass on the studio version of Painkiller, or Freewheel Burning. I'm right, you're wrong, and that's the way it is.

  • @frelvis77 thank prof. Shakespeare, you are the typical American, who know everything, only watching MTV or American idol...you need to learn a lot, men,,, or maybe your only 13 years old arent you?

  • @Yosimar OK Fucking troll bastard, I tried to be nice. Here's the deal, Judas Priest has been my favorite band since 1983, probably before you were born, and I've seen them live 4 times, soon to be 5. As far as the Priest is concerned, I am fucking Prof. Shakespeare! It's a well known fact that they keep Ian Hill's bass turned low nowadays, and yes not so much in the early days. So Fuck You, Fuck your anti-American bias, and fuck your mom who failed to abort you when she had the chance.

  • @frelvis77 please do no try to be nice, who cares if you are nice, beautiful or gay for me is the same, if your are judas priest fans i think that you offence the priiest... i know much better their Music before you were abort. i am not anti-American i am only against your arrogance, and your Country who is destroying the World in the name of Freedom.....good bye Prof Shespirito..... jajajaj

  • @Yosimar I'm having you message translated into English, when I get It back I'll be sure to let you know.

  • @frelvis77 yes gremlins abort...

  • Comment removed

  • @Yosimar Whatever you say, as long as you go away...Puta

  • @frelvis77 dont be pathetic, please or i am going to cry, your english is not really good neither, the typical stupid american... who had never read a book... That is america...

  • @frelvis77 Dude grow the fuck up. No one gives a shit about how many thumbs up you get. And yes, you can hear the bass, try listening to Priest's songs with bass cut out, how much of a difference it makes. Talking about Ian Hill's bass, he has a bass solo in The Rage, so yea, I guess I can hear the bass

  • @DoraTheDino I need to grow the fuck up? Who's trolling me now? Looks like you. And as I told the other moron, yes Ian Hill is a great bassist, you just cant hear it well in the newer albums. I really wish 39 didn't agree with me, cause then I wouldn't have the top rated comment and I wouldn't have to deal with troglodytes trolling me. I don't start with people here, I just respond, and respond in ill humor.

  • @frelvis77 Actually, Ian's bass is well audible on Nostradamus, y'know...

  • whoa ive never seen rob with so much hair

  • @bilbotitface he mimmicked robert plant when he was younger

  • hippie metal?

  • @Ruberick28 You said it

  • @MrShotokan4 ha!

  • this is an awesome song, but I can't help but cringe every time I hear him say "boyzz"

  • OK!!! ;))

  • A bit strange but i like it^^

  • @Ranrede

LOL Exactly! Couldn't have said it better.

  • prist rules in every decade...

i like the stupit hat :-)
