Satoshi Motoyama FTW when he win the 2003 JGTC Series Championship and Super GT Championship in 2008 using this car:)he is a 4 time Super GT/JGTC champion:)
"This car only revs around 6000 rpm , because torque is so high it dosen`t need to rev high"
I think its the same like the "old" 2.0Liter WRC Cars. Because of Airrestrictrorsize and anti lag system they went from high revs to maximum torque and throttle response.
@EBOULAR MAN i love them to i'm a real big GRAN TURISMO FAN and every time i play the game i'm always racing with JGTC CARS their just fucking awsome racing cars they need to show this kind of racing the U.S.A. instead of the weak ass shit you call NASCAR what kind of racing is nascar anyways just going in circles that's it it's cause they can't drive for shit put them up against these racers and see how bad they make them look HA HA HA... JGTC FOREVER!!!!!!!
They actually destroked the VQ30 to reduce piston speed.
I've watched a lot of WRC footage to know that the bangs and pops are from an anti lag system. WRC cars make those same noises as this car does. There was an article that I saw that mentioned that this car has an ALS system.
The popping noise is from the anti lag system, which spins the turbo under deceleration to keep it from having turbo lag. WRC cars have this system and those cars have definitely make those kinds of noises.
lol its funny, they are passing like porsche's and saleen's, and i think i saw a mclaren f1, its like japan is saying, YEAH YOU ThiNK YOUR FAST HUH!!! vrooom lol
wow compared to the other jgtc cars i've heard, it really sounds like he's short shifting...then again i really have no expert knowledge about this whatsoever
it was 2003 the engines were Twin Turbo, its nissan so they always built thier engine settings on big crancks, they raise the TRQ like that so @7K RPM you kill the speed if you try to get more, so youre trq band starts @ about 3K and up where in NSX its all the way to 9K rpm, where there is less trq but higer revving, it depends how the driver wants hes machine, its the factory and driver machine development
