  • Ron Tyson performed with The Ethics and Love Committe. He was the songwriter for a lot of Philly hits from Blue Magic, First Choice, etc.

  • The Ethics later became Love Committee(cheaters never win), he was very instrumental with alot of philly hits--also at atlantic trammps, temptations(1977-78), 1983 he joined them still with them

  • Sounds like the Trammps--I see same writers/producers. Did Ron Tyson sing with that group

    Philadelphiaman

  • Great to get your response---glad you agree--did Ron Tyson sing with them.

  • Just great -loving listening to it again.

  • This song used to be my jam. Unfortunately, I was about 12 or 13 years old when it came out, and couldn't buy records at the time. I only had the words stuck in my head "Ill be what you need to keep you warm", and trying to ask anybody did they ever hear of that song was useless. Until I came over here and typed it up, knowing that it would not be there. But it was. Thanks for putting this song up there.

  • I heard this track a few months ago at a disco reunion at the Chez in Atlantic City and almost hit the roof....grabbed a girl right away and hustle dancing galore....I only have this on a cassette which is now over 20 years old...thanks mucho for the post !
