  • damnnnn i wish i could show you what to buy!!!!!

  • You got no Sholders man

  • cheese? no man lol

  • them shits look big for 16 inches,im subscribing

  • First it's not food that makes you swole, and all that crap cost a fortune.

  • jacob bieber???

  • How much do you pay for that?I have to spend half my wage on a month to buy all those things.

  • how long did it take you to get in that kind of shape?

  • What is the best brown rice? Tilda Basmati Brown Rice? or any more ideas?

  • good job dude

  • looks like you covered it all except cost how much do you spend on food per week or month

  • this is more or less my standard shopping list flavoured oats for a ''treat''. good rigg too keep it up.

  • This is great healthy grocey list Strand Robin ,so do compare price when shop?

  • Hey man how old r u? And how do u know how to portion ur food? I want to start working out and eating right but I don't know how much I should eat.

  • sounds like you know what youre doing.ive noted your selection.and i will follow.you know what youre doing-much success to you.have noted that none of your selections are easy prepared junk foods.junk foods are for losers-we are winners.results will show.

  • Good list, always interesting to see what a fellow bodybuilder eats. Are you natural as well?

  • totally agree with these foods but always wondered why natural/organic peanut butter is always favoured? Other types might have a tiny amount of salt/sugar/oils added and I don't really see how this can make much difference. On another note, what do you have for breakfast? i've got some tasty recipes but there getting pretty boring

  • @dodzy6 You're right in that perspective, it doesn't make MUCH difference, but it does make SOME difference - and that's the difference you don't want when you're 6 weeks out from competition. I agree with you though, for most of the time - peanut butter is peanut butter, but it's pretty much the same price so you might as well go natural.

Breakfast can be anything! Avocado on whole grain toast, some eggs and a piece of fruit is a great meal! Oatmeal pancakes with eggs, smoothies.. :)

  • @StrandRobin if thats ur answer to the difference between natural peanut butter and "skippy" peanut butter, please rephrase your answer, im not knocking your video or anything you clearly know your stuff, but this is where i needa say something. Regular peanut butter is filled with hydrogenated oils which are just a no no by all means

  • @psufball1 There's a pretty low amount of hydrogenated oils in the peanut butter. Like I said, natural is better but regular PB won't kill you!

  • @StrandRobin ya it wont kill you but why go with that when you can go for the natural/organic peanut butter, its just better for you. I think it tastes better too

  • @dodzy6 its the Hydrogen compounds the organic oils are healthier to the heart not to mention better metabolism and testosterone levels

  • totally agree with these foods but always wondered why natural/organic peanut butter is always favoured? Other types might have a tiny amount of salt/sugar/oils added and I don't really see how this can make much difference.

  • skip the instant flavor bullshit packets and go for the large flake old fashioned oats.

  • PLEASE MEN,FUCK ME!!!!!!

  • Nicee man

  • dude no offense but what happened to ur abs did u have surgery

  • WEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOO TUUUUURRRRRRRRFFFFFFFF GUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR(weeo tuff guy)

  • if you dont mind me asking bro is peanut butter good for cutting and how should you eat it

  • lol...lol.... pinutbutter, dude you nead to put some ST our you will be small forever

  • i really dont wanna be a smartass since i shouldnt even be giving u advice but 'instant' stuff is usually isnt natural at all. instant rice/oatmeal r usually high gi

  • Fact...not everyones body receives each food the same, whats good for on person can be not as good for another...sum whole wheat cereals have been known to make blood preseure if taken in the morning, so if u have a history of heart attacks u may want to lay off it in the morning.so experiment with different foods...

  • You got everything right except for the lack of vegetables you eat. More variety man!! I prefer fresh raw vege's like salad with at least 8-9 different types of vegetables. Eat that and top it off with apple cider and balsamic vinegar and a bit of olive oil then you are good to go. It is the key to muscle definition and maintaining a low body fat while keeping the lean mass that you put on with your other meat proteins and whole grain starches. Anyhow great physique man. Keep it up.

  • How many meals do you eat per day?

  • what a sad existence...eat and shit!

  • dang bruh! keep up the good work! :P quick question though, can you list out some songs?! :p Lol since i need to cycle my work outs, thought i'd cycle my songs too :P

  • És que no pot una dona comentar que li agrada físicament un home guapo perquè aquest és un territori masculí? Crec que falta una mica d'obertura, encara que crec que de part dels comentaristes, no del amable protagonista. Ignacia.

  • @CNachita es tuna luna mica gunker beiber

  • MMM. You look sooo young in this vid, but in any case so cute.

  • @CNachita your a homo

  • @elemental57 LOL. I´m not lesbian...

  • @CNachita yes you are

  • @elemental57 Sorry for my english, but I tried for some humoristic way explain you that I'AM A GIRL.

I'm not a culturist, but this boy is for me atractive. I hope you are not only muscles, but a man with a brain. Could I think this man is sexy or only men can comment about girls? Good bye, moron. Ignacia

PS: And, is good a diet low in carbs?, friends.

  • @CNachita a diet low in carbs is good, but up the fats and turn it into a keto diet if you want the carbs low.

  • hi bro

  • for steak, go for tenderloin..... tastes the best and is super lean. the other ones you mentioned, although can be used for steaks, are often best used in roasts and stews and stuff.

  • You look really good. I like the brocolli cole slaw in the bag in the fresh section. I throw it into some Swanson Organic Chicken Broth from the big boxes. Just bring that to a boil with a little California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive oil that the big box stores even have now and some red onion, garlic, celery or what have you. It makes a delicious soup in 15 minutes and it lasts for days so you can get a lot of fresh veggies.

  • subbed so u better make a vid of ur 200 lbs body asap !!

  • hey rob,I am just starting to lift I weigh 140 and am 5''9 my question is should I use regular protein or whey protein? thanks

  • @MsCankersore i know you were talking to him but i figured i might as well haha..

thats a common question, but 100% natural whey protein is the healthiest. i think it's because it has the lowest fat. I personally dont like whey though so i use regular stuff haha. just read labels! go for low "calories from fat"!

  • @UrJoker Typically, there are two main types of whey protein. There's whey concentrate, which is about 70-80% protein. The rest of the calories come from carbs and fat. Since it does contain fat, digestion would be slowed. Then there's whey isolate, which is usually about 90% protein. It contains a lot less carbs and fat (usually 1g or less of carb and .5g or less of fat).

Most people prefer isolate, because it absorbs faster. There's also casein, which is slow digesting. I would go for those.

  • @abetterdaytocome In the video, I was 5"11 at about 180lbs. Now I'm about 5"11 at 200lbs

    Thanks everyone !!

  • @StrandRobin You say that as if your height may vary...

  • Whats your height and weight?

  • it's the first video of yours that I see now, and i can't believe you're so young! I'm really happy, i'm 22 and a very hardgainer! It's really nice to see a good video, very understandable! it's inspiring! Than k you !

  • I love it. Tip videos are the way to go

  • look awesome, when u started out did u work on cardio as well or just weights?

  • natural peanut butter is shit.

  • @jaboipell is THE shit !

  • how much and what do you eat for cutting, i can "bulk" good, gain muscle and little to no fat, but i havent had a successful cut

  • bodybuilder + listening to tech n9ne

    awesome :)

  • this has been very helpful. thank you

  • a few questions

drinks: what do you drink? what milk if you do

rice: minute rice is brown rice right?

eggs: does it make a difference if i just buy eggs and separate white and yolk?

    broccoli: how much a day?

  • @psp520 Water, basically. Milk occasionally - 2%.

Minute Rice is the brand, they make white rice and brown rice. The one I have is brown (it's actually 10 minute rice)

No it doesn't make a difference

It depends, I usually eat a crown of broccoli per day. That's about 1/2lb to 1lb

  • @StrandRobin alright thanks :) im looking to become a body builder.. can you give me some tips? im 13

  • you canadian bro?

  • good vid mad im on the way 2 getting big im going to use ur plans though so please keep posting

  • You have certainly read up on nutrition. BTW, salmon and tilapia do not have mercury. It is top-of-the-foodchain large fish like tuna, shark, and swordfish that have mercury.

That bicep flex at the end is awesome.

  • How much do you spend for a month of food?

  • @XghostriderrX

Depends on whether or not I am gaining mass or losing fat

    Rough estimation: ~$350

  • @StrandRobin

How much time do you spend weight lifting? because i bench 60 pounds for about 30 minutes a day?is that a enough?

Also how much calories do you eat a day?

  • @VarrioMexicano lol dude working out isnt for robots, u have to do all muscles as in a full body workout, not just bench press, and for that udd need around an hour , not neescessarly every day but wtvr.

i rlly advise u to do some research on body buliding, dnt just do it without knwing wat ur doing

  • Damn that's a lot of food - really helpful video though.

  • man looking great!

what is your stats? height weight chest

and please write your workout routine if you can thanks!

  • @rnyrn Thanks, I appreciate it. Currently I am 175lbs at 5'10.

My routine is a simple 5 day split right now:

    Day 1: Shoulders

    Day 2: Back

    Day 3: Chest

    Day 4: Legs

    Day 5: Arms

  • @StrandRobin awesome stuff... im 5'10 just under 170... i gonna start eating like an animal, i wanna be 180 by next year& maintain 5% body fat

  • @JBxWinters maintaing 5% is impossible and unhealthy as fuck.

  • you are a God

  • Hey man how often do you have whole eggs? Im reading up on eggs in my diet and a lot of people say whole eggs are unhealthy for you

  • So if a woman wants to build muscle this diet would be ideal for her too?

  • @BlackHairandSkinCare

Absolutely, the only difference would be the amount of calories you require. Women generally require less calories than men.

  • how long u been training for

  • how long u been training for

  • You bought lots of fish. How many servings a week do you have? I'm wondering since I myself would like to eat more, but I try to keep my intake to two servings a week due to mercury (seems even tuna and salmon have a little mercury in them).

  • @RyosoMercurian

I usually eat tons of tuna, salmon and tilapia or sole. Most of my muscle building meals will have 8 ounces of fish or chicken. I wouldn't worry too much about mercury

  • you look awesome

  • Sardines! Oh gross, plus they have too much damn sodium. How about some other nuts and fruits? Spray oil is smart, it allows you to use less and avoid extra fat calories. I use Yukon Gold potatoes, they're smaller and you microwave them and they'll cook all of the way faster and the skins taste okay. How about some onions and mushrooms? Good flavors from simple carbs and low-calorie.

Get back to work, those dishes are not going to put themselves away!

  • @zippyman818

Thanks for the comment! I actually neglected to mention other fruits, nuts and veggies more than I should have because I am in competition prep mode. Fruits are definitely a great food to incorporate into a bodybuilding diet. Nuts and seeds are excellent as well. It's good to eat a large range of vegetables and fruits to insure you are getting the benefit of all the different types.

  • You sure do love your sweet potatoes!

    lol.

    Again, quite impressive, Rob-Zombie!!

    -Brit

  • Good video. You seem to have a great knowledge of food and nutrition for such a young guy. And great flex at the end!

  • yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • OPA=ontario physique association?

  • you hit all the basics,,lots of water too

  • Thanks for the comments!

@apaige22, I was going to mention that potatoes are not on my shopping list because I always have an abundance of them at home -- but Russet and sweet potatoes are both a staple of mine. I will make some actual meal videos when I am finished with my contest prep (the meals are small and boring)

    -Robin

  • thanks for posting this video i think its helpful. my diet includes a lot of the foods shown in your video minus a few things. i live abroad currently in a non-english speaking country so its hard to read the food labels for caloric content and fat , etc.

anyways, would love to see another video of you preparing a post workout meal or even a dinner meal. I always try to find some kind of variety in my foods.

also , I noticed you didnt have potatoes in your video. was that by accident?

  • Awesome body. Can't wait full posing or workout videos.
