I'm cool with this whole movie, it's a mindfuck, but it doesn't disturb me too badly. That is, apart from 06:44. Seeing those personnel sprawled as they get trapped permanently in this bakelite...what if one of those guys is still even a little bit conscious...buried alive...*shivers*

though its different i dont think its messed up the manga provides an...interesting alternative to the anime. It also seems as the the rebuild of eva movies have taken part of the manga and anime and used them both.
