  • @glucapir Sept 1st 2001

  • @glucapir It was released in 2001-09-15, nearly 10yrs ago

  • I love Jay Chou. <3

  • Congrats to Jay Chou for his impressive rendition of Kato. He did not only give justice to Bruce Lee's famous role, but he added his flavor in it.

  • They should at least stick this song in the end credits if Green Hornet gets shown back in Taiwan.

  • @LordAaronus It already is in the end credits...

  • @Jobbeybob I couldnt stay around for the whole thing so I didn't know that

  • @LordAaronus Malaysia too~ i was stunned when this song played at the end~ me and my friends singing her her ha hee~

  • hmm where was this song in green hornet? i dont remember hearing it :(

  • @blooies it was during the ending credits. Right after they introduce all the directors and visual directors (the comic backgrounds), they then went into the cast, which i think was in the black background, and the song starts. So awesome. I was singing to the he he ha hei section since i couldn't rap >_<

  • Too bad Jay didn't use these too much in the Green Hornet movie. Excellent movie, regardless and Jay was one of the main reasons why.

  • this song is going to be the ending song for green hornet! i can't wait for that movie :D jay chou forever <3

  • hoo hoo ha hee

  • I just watched the "ninja" video. His raps is really fast. I also love this song!

  • he raps really gooood man..

  • I'm feeling the Enter The Dragon vibe from this song

  • wah he pro lei! rock on jay!

  • The video is aight, but he's no Bruce Lee. nuff said.

  • Triads music

  • great

  • My roflcopter goes soi soi soi soi soi soi

    Good song, good song :D

  • My roflcopter goes shi shua shua shi shua shua.

    XD

  • Yeah, this song was definitely his start-off to fame.

  • This song is perfect as a dedication to The Great Bruce Lee

  • dude, u spelled nunchucks wrong in the title

  • it's actually spelled nunchakus

  • old song, but still awesomical. I think this was the song that got him to his famous predicament today, his start off.

  • look at his muscles...

  • not so big for a 23 year old

  • I agree but Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Jackie Chan dun look too muscular either. The fact is that when it comes to wushu, what you need is to be fit flexible, fast and have enuff power to inflict damage on your opponents.

Only wrestlers need a lot of muscle; martial art guys don't need a lot of muscle- beyond core strength at the trunk.

  • sure absolutely agreed

  • learn wushu can protect ur slef lol

  • @timothyt0102

wait wait. bruce lee IS muscular. no joke. maybe not bulk but its insane.

  • 恨好恨好!!

    ^-^

  • Ehehe hen hen ha hi! zhi shi yong shuang jie gun! xDDD

  • wo ting bu don

  • best !!

  • This is the future Jackie chan!XD

  • jay chou using nunchuks fighting ppl is so cool,go on!

  • 双截棍 is sweet song

  • 第1次聽見jay的歌 就是這首:]

  • the scene when there are chinese characters on the wall of the room..looks like the room used in Volcano high haha

  • wonder why the is the piano part... it fits in too

  • Because it's Jay Chou...and he's just awesome =)

  • u can always expect sth unexpected in his songs..haha

  • wonder why the is the piano part... it fits in too

  • sure looks like it lol

  • Hey Hey Guys , have a question here , is that Ariel Lin , the girl in this mv ?

  • yea.a that's ariel lin.

  • who?

  • Jay once said that this song is the song that his is the most proud of.

  • gosh, this is old! is this the song that made him famous?

  • Nahh.

This was from Fantasy, his second full length album.

  • Yes

  • It's totally hng hng ha he!

  • I always liked this song by Jay,but there are other like this one?I mean, this is kinda "hard" in its musical style but different from other songs i heard from him...Would you please indicate me other Jay songs in the vein of Nunchuks?Thanx alot!

  • Have you tried "Ren Zhe" from the same album, Fantasy? English translation would be Ninja. It has more of a Japanese twist to it. If you prefer the Chinese tune, try "Long Quan" or "Dragon Fist/Punch" in English.

  • thx for infor

  • "ben cao gang mu"

  • like the piano part,

  • lol. cool mv.

  • In all the foreign music videos that I've seen this one really opened my eyes for a proper visual view. I liked everything about the flow of the video, how it starts off and the ending was really exquisite as well.

  • @mcnotts You do realize Jay chou is basically the mainstream of mainstream of current Chinese pop culture right, basically his budget is not your typical foreign projects, so most of his videos have good quality work put into it.

  • he self taught himself to use the nunchuks

  • why aint he drifting!!!

  • check out my nunchuck video!!!!!!!

  • does he have a tattoo?

  • its funny, its one thing that american rappers cant do.

  • cool! he is speaking 客家話 when he say "幹什麼".

  • he speaks so many languages; Korean, Japanese,客家話, Hokkien etc... in his songs

  • got korean??? i listen for 7 yr and nv know there's korean language in his song..

  • yes, it's in the "si mian chu ge" in November's Xiao Bang! The part after he sings the chorus for the 2nd time.

  • OMG his hair.

    Love the special effects!

  • lol the piano part is hilarious XD

  • OMFG are you serious? it`s ariel.

  • I dont understand a word of this song either but he made it to the movie Volcano High ... its cuz i hav the movie and the mv and moves in it are exdactly to the movie

  • He is basically singing about how he trained in martial arts(different forms of martial arts, Tai-Ji, Shao-Lin, etc) and about the spirit of martial arts ("The benevolent one has no enemy" "The title of 'the sickman of Asia' had been kicked out by me in one blow"(a reference to Huo Yuan Jia, the subject of Jet Li's new movie, Fearless)).

  • haha sorry! its looks exactly like the movie volcano high ... sorry

  • No, it is volcano high looks like this. and to be honest, Volcano high sux...

  • yeah volcanoe high did suck ... regretted buyin it so bad ... i understand that this is a reference to Bruce Lee .. but yeah it looks more like Volcanoe High

  • actually its a bruce lee reference. bruce lee once said china wasn't anymore the "sick man of asia" check the song 1127 by lmf

  • Really cool;)

  • No idea what he is on about but love the song

  • Nice, but I don't get why he's beating up all those people...

  • I think the scene itself is a story. The guy's girl was harassed by the mafia or something.(he called, no one was answering) So he comes and saves the day.

  • OMG!! LOVE IT!! ^^

  • this has ariel lin in it!

  • cool!

  • he's lucky all those CG effects protected him from a well deserved beating ;)

  • nice
