@blooies it was during the ending credits. Right after they introduce all the directors and visual directors (the comic backgrounds), they then went into the cast, which i think was in the black background, and the song starts. So awesome. I was singing to the he he ha hei section since i couldn't rap >_<
I agree but Bruce Lee, Jet Li and Jackie Chan dun look too muscular either. The fact is that when it comes to wushu, what you need is to be fit flexible, fast and have enuff power to inflict damage on your opponents.
Only wrestlers need a lot of muscle; martial art guys don't need a lot of muscle- beyond core strength at the trunk.
I always liked this song by Jay,but there are other like this one?I mean, this is kinda "hard" in its musical style but different from other songs i heard from him...Would you please indicate me other Jay songs in the vein of Nunchuks?Thanx alot!
Have you tried "Ren Zhe" from the same album, Fantasy? English translation would be Ninja. It has more of a Japanese twist to it. If you prefer the Chinese tune, try "Long Quan" or "Dragon Fist/Punch" in English.
In all the foreign music videos that I've seen this one really opened my eyes for a proper visual view. I liked everything about the flow of the video, how it starts off and the ending was really exquisite as well.
@mcnotts You do realize Jay chou is basically the mainstream of mainstream of current Chinese pop culture right, basically his budget is not your typical foreign projects, so most of his videos have good quality work put into it.
I dont understand a word of this song either but he made it to the movie Volcano High ... its cuz i hav the movie and the mv and moves in it are exdactly to the movie
He is basically singing about how he trained in martial arts(different forms of martial arts, Tai-Ji, Shao-Lin, etc) and about the spirit of martial arts ("The benevolent one has no enemy" "The title of 'the sickman of Asia' had been kicked out by me in one blow"(a reference to Huo Yuan Jia, the subject of Jet Li's new movie, Fearless)).
yeah volcanoe high did suck ... regretted buyin it so bad ... i understand that this is a reference to Bruce Lee .. but yeah it looks more like Volcanoe High
I think the scene itself is a story. The guy's girl was harassed by the mafia or something.(he called, no one was answering) So he comes and saves the day.

Congrats to Jay Chou for his impressive rendition of Kato. He did not only give justice to Bruce Lee's famous role, but he added his flavor in it.

Too bad Jay didn't use these too much in the Green Hornet movie. Excellent movie, regardless and Jay was one of the main reasons why.
