Why Kodiak Bears don't drink beer...

Bears eat campers backpacks too. For example, check out the bear I recorded while hiking Mt Michell in NC. It was picking off campers backpacks at the back country (Commissary Ridge) tent site. The site is about a 2 mile hike from the summit down the mountain and I recommend day hiking Mitchell if your ever in the area.

I enjoyed the video and thank you for posting it. I don't think I can get that close to the bears around here (NC), but I usually don't go hiking with beer (too heavy :)

I forget where this was, there was actually a case where a bear was found passed out, they found it to be drunk, it's blood alchohol level was 4.5 When they found the bear, it was passed out.

Animals in the wild get drunk all the time, mostly in the fall though when things are fermented. A buddy of mine shot a caribou that was acting funny and being clumsy. He opened up the stomach and it was full of fermented berries. Plus who even thinks this vid is for real?
