  • Este tarado vio demasiado "rapido y furioso", los cambios se pasan a menos revoluciones capo! asi estas acortando la vida util de la moto, y aprende a manejar, no se quien te enseño a cruzarte asi entre los autos, pero si te veo por la autopista te juro q te cierro el paso, si te caes es tu culpa por manejar sin respetar, si queres pasar a alguien lo tenes q hacer por el carril de al lado, no por la linea. No estas en el moto GP, si queres correr anda a un circuito y paga como se debe!

  • These engines (bike) are build for those revs, and thats also why they have a limiter, to stop before the engine can get hurt. Rode mine hard for 30 000 km, and not one problem. Dyno when I got it was 58 hp. Dyno before I sold it 71 hp...same dyno half a year later.

  • Wow man, its called a red line for a reason! why take it so high? Sure fire way to bend something internally! If you check out the power curves for the nc30 you'll see peak power is achieved around the 13000/13500 rpm range meaning if you shift top end of there you'll be much faster up to speed and through the gears!

    And do us all a favour, wear some bloody leathers!

  • Dude, don't take the RPMs so high. Can't you see how the needle stops climbing at 15,500 RPMs ?

    Shift at the begginig on the red zone, you'll be faster and you will not kill your engine...

  • @xzistpo Hitting the limitter doesn't wreck your engine.. Limitter is there to stop you over revving the engine, which will damage it and can cause things like valve slap. but yes, you're right, he should be shifting a bit below redline, because peak power is at around 13k revs. Ideally you should shift at the point where the revs will drop to just below peak power for the next gear.

  • they are fast enough to learn and for the street i learned to ride a cbr250rr and that is fast enough for the street, i own a vfr400r race bike and it flies does just over 230km keeps up with 600's as well.

    the 18inch rear reduce tyre choice though

  • i have a vrf400, it seems to love being revved to 14000 plus, it doesnt redline til 14500 anyway. although i think switching up thru gears at 12000 gives best acceleration

  • it wasnt designed to be ridden well into the redline in each gear + hit the limiter. yes, its a high performance machine, and their engines are amongst the most reliable ever made, but you still have to treat it with respect, and this bloke clearly isnt. what goes around comes around.

  • This engine was made to rev up to 16k rmp, and this road version is only going up to 14.5 k rpm..

    This bike was made for track use that means it will ONLY be used from 10k rpm to redline
