@StraightastheRainbow agreed, as a huge britney fan, ide actually prefer 2 see britney totally suck ass peformering, just 2 see her sing live a couple of times. but sometimes artist really do have 2 sacrifice stuff like that, its kinda a "do i want 2 perform well? or have a good voice?" kinda thing..like i think boa really should have lip sanc during this performance, would have made her dancing better.

I feel the same way about the lipsync concept. And also directers is more concerned about giving a great performance, than actual singing.

But I think that BoA has a great live voice, so I'd rather see her a little stiff on stage, than 100% lipsync.

And I don't think the two can be compared, not because one or another sucks (I love me some Britney xD ), but they have very different dancestyles.

@StraightastheRainbow i agree. i actually hope that britney does a 'typical britney' dance performance sometime. she hasn't been dancing nearly as much as she used to, which is understood on her circus tour because theres so many props that it would look way too over the top. but i hope that 1 day she has at least 1 more performance like when she used 2 perform overprotected...

Im sorry to say but I think Lady Gaga deserves all the fame she has right now. Lady Gaga has been a hard working musician for years. She was finally recognized for her amazing lyrical sense and creativity. Lady Gaga has an originality to her music that rarely any other artists have. BoA is cool but she isn't "on-level" with Lady Gaga. Their singing are great. However, BoA tries to fit in with the mainstream too much. She changed her image just for an American album.

It's her originality and quirky style that throws ppl off since many ppl can't accept something outside of the box. BoA's style did change for her american debut but i think she shows her true colors the most through her japanese albums especially the one she recently produced

@Ngelcanfly What in the world are you talking about? This is ASIA. BoA is the Best Of Asia. She's been in the game since 2000 and has influenced many Japanese and Korean bands! She's one of the hardest working musicians out there! 11 years and counting and she's STILL one of the best. BoA has so much originality and if anything, Lady Gaga is just a recent pop sensation from the days of Madonna and Kylie Mingoue. I will admit that she changed her image, but think from the Asian perspective.
