  • i need to get a paki girl so i can eat this every day.. yummmy

  • You guys are retarded. An Indian person who lives in America picks up and American accent but also has tinges of Indian accent as they may have lived in India for quite some time before moving. It's called a "transition accent" get educated biatches

  • Thks u

  • Can i use coconut milk instead of yoghurt

  • @susucadey -sorry that will not work

  • @sfehmi thks hun for leting me know,,,,,,,,,

  • I f I f r e eze biryani ,does it remain tas t y?

  • @jawad384 yes - I have done that -

  • Looks nice and simple and delicious. I'm with tubeguest. Why don't you bullies just go take a hike??? India has goodness knows how many languages and dialects and likewise who knows how many recipes!!! If it tastes good, well that will do for me!!!

  • I'm sorta confused about the yogurt. what kind of yogurt? Non-fat or just plain yogurt? (non sweet kind?)

  • @TubeGuest5178 Plain yogurt

  • Yeah right biryani come from southern indian ( nothern kerala and southern tip of andhra, west side of tamil nadu ) add a little lime to prevent the rice from getting mushy......use ghee instead of olive oil...... Olive is not even indian

  • @shalom7784 so what.......i'm quite sure this is still good cuz Olive is not American but we use it too!!!

  • She didnt say biriyani came from Lucknow...she just said this is the method made in Lucknow.

  • Biryani comes from Hyderabad and not from lucknow u idiot lady with a fake accent !!

  • Shebaji, What brand of Biryani rice (made in India) do you recommend here in the US: Tilda, Royal, LalQuila or Himalayan?

  • @SuperSealSniper I have been using SWAD basmati or Kohinoor basmati - At one time I used Tilda but their quality has gone down

  • worngworngworngworngworngworngworngworngworng u fuckn suck !!!!!!!!

  • 2:41 it will get quick, it will quickly quick, it will quickly cook ''LOL'' nice recipe. like it

  • those guys who have problems with her accent or whatever are all from Hyderabad, coz, she mentioned this dish is from Lucknow and Delhi and Hyderabadi's got angry, hahahaha

  • @wadhwagurjit man this is sad, but you are right you have to laugh about it. I mean can' t a person just create a cooking video without the bullies coming on the vid to complain about where the dish is from the wrong ingredients; the woman's accent..om-gosh!

  • why are people so concerned about her accent? she doesn't sound fake, just nervous about making a video and being on camera. i like your video and im going to try the recipe. i love that tip about boiling the water in the kettle before putting it into the pot with rice.

  • Thanks for sharing. I am trying to cook biryani and this video was helpfull. Also, ignore the negative comments from all those idiots.

  • im making diet ..thats why im here

  • Ur biryani recipe and method succ balllz.

Quit the fake accent.. Ure ruining other indian peoples lives.

  • @fayerdada True..$%^en fake accent

  • Recipe is OK. BAD fake accent. Highly irritating. I dont know why Indians are so much concerned about having fake accents. Please concenterate on what you can teach and NOT on how u can speak. I hope U Take the criticism in a sporting manner.

  • @indiaaff well some indian doesnt fake and doesnt sounds fake at all, but this lady is rolling her tounge so bad that she sounds too fake and irritating...when she knows her accent sounds fake , then there is no point of doing it...as long one can speak good english, i think it is ok...no need to put any fake accent...

  • Olive oil for Biryani? Yechh!

  • @Hanise888 would you like some dog meat imported from china or southkorea?

  • i followed your recipe though not quite to the letter(couldn't find kewra) and my husband and I loved it!always wanted to know how to colour rice.Thank you so much

  • @MsNimmoh Thank you for your feed back - Kewra only provides an aroma - Glad that you liked it. As you can see from the comments not every one is on the same page - and that is OK.

  • @MsNimmoh You should color the rice with saffron....NOT food coloring. You take about a 1/4 cup boiling water and add a pinch of saffron threads to it. Let it sit for 5-10mins and pour it on your rice the same way in the video.

  • @deptheternal This is a good tip - also adds a special flavor

  • Why can't you use tumeric instead of food coloring??? lol..

  • what u made is good but don't call it a biriyani

  • This version" How To Make Chicken Biryani " is easy to cook too.

  • @citizenOfNowhere777 Thank you - hope that you get a chance to cook it too. Will appreciate if you can put a link to this video on your FB page so that your friends can see it.

    Thx

  • nice and easy to follow thanks for making such a good video..............

  • your accent is just fake and rather try to speak good english..rather than faking american accent..coz u sound so fake as u were not a born american so ur accent sounds funny and ur Pronunciation is just awful..

  • @ThePrency I think her English is pretty good...

  • @nathitalinda i never said it is bad, but she just sounds fake..if u listen to her again, you wil find it..

  • @ThePrency Yes VERY FAKE.

  • @nathitalinda LOL

  • i love your cooking.

  • @tasanipusa thank you -

  • where do you find the spices? I can find ginger and garlic but don't recognize the other things on the plate, something masala? what is that?

  • @preparadox Here is what I would suggest - go to my website shebasrecipes and download the recipe for free. Go to any Indian or Pakistani store and show them the ingredients and the shop attendant should be able to help you out.

  • This looks delicious! I can't wait to try it!

  • "it will quickly quick" , I was like, wtf? then "it will quickly COOK" . lol

  • I know change is good and U can reduce the quantity of spices to suite ur palate but u cant simply eliminate the whole list of major ingredients like nuts and saffron and other spices and call it biryani. This dish requires patience and effort. This royal dish is not famous for nothng. No offence to any1 but we know what biryani is.thanx for uploading though.

  • A whole lot of essential powdered spices were missing thus the thick saucelike gravy that shud cover the meat was missing.U didnt marinate ur meat either? Onions were too little. The rice was cooked in plain water instead of being cooked in the whole spice flavoured water, no cashews to garnish nor chopped corriander. : /

  • @prettypicture1000 - change is difficult to digest.

  • hello I loved your recipe specially because i dont like too much spices , delicious congratulations

  • what kind of basmati is this. I use a basmati rice but this really look different. Mine are Tild and the one elephone pic in sack.

  • @FaadumoArdo - I have used both the brands that you refer to in the past. Now I use Laxmi brand.

  • Hi Sheba..instead o ginger paste and garlic paste ..can i use ginger-garlic paste..if yes then how much should i use..??

  • @riariariadixit - yes you can use the combined ginger and garlic paste. It will be the same. If the recipe asks for one table spoon each now you will put in two table spoon.

  • well this doesnt look like the conventional briyani..but good tryout..:)

  • bull shit....

  • you stupid ppl no matter the recipes ... the important think is the teast and i think its delecoius YUmmi@@

  • Thank you so much for taking your time and effort to post your videos, I have learnt a lot from them.

  • Waste of time.

  • Please donot bring disgrace to Biriyani, with all due respect please call this chicken pulav and not biriyani

  • umm.. ur biriyani looks delicious... i will try one day .. and hopefully u dont like to use ghee............. or u r just different..never mind this stupid people commenting mean on your recipe.. old faashion was liek using too much spices.. gheee ..green chillis..and also u hav mentioned its good for KIDS.. maybe they didnt hear u talking ..because those people were so busy fussing and giving themselves credit for there own style of cooking..

  • i am not sure how good this will taste without any kind of chilly....also this is just a dirty approach of making a biryani .. there is no ghee in this .... no biryani is complete without ghee...the wierd part is that you are using olive oil ... i have never heard of a biryani with olive oil ..nevertheless i wish to give this recipie a try ... it can be made good though i wouldnt call it biryani

  • nice recipe, you make me smile about "quicly quick". keep it going sheba.

  • How many of you guys can cook biryani like her? Besides, biryani rice HAS to be soaked for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Yeah she was fumbling a bit, but I honestly thought it was good. Cut some slack! Lady, you did a great job.

  • OMG i just wana fukn slap the shit out ov her ...

  • 3:04

  • it well get quickly quick.. :-p LOL..

  • Thanks for taking the effort to prepare, film, and upload the video of how to cook a 'Fast-Food Biryani'...Not everyone can do that....Sorry, BUT you were not too far from preparing a perfect one...Believe me, my 85 yr old nani & dadi Ji can make better birjani...At least, we would never prepare a chicken biryani without fresh herbs like fresh coriander, fresh mint leaves, fresh green chillies..and most of the chicken pieces will be underneath the rice to penetrate the flavour while cooking with

  • 24 people don't know how to cook...

  • It's so funny how these idiots think they know better. Do some research on DUM Biryani before you guys blurt out stupid uneducated comments. You're not suppose to cook the rice much when layering it and cooking it in the oven -- otherwise it get's overcooked. How stupid do you people sound..it's hilarious.

  • @AcccountDisabled

What is HILARIOUS in those comments? Wrong adjective mate!! Do some research in the online dictionaries!!

  • @kumaryder Apparently you don't know the definition of "SARCASM" Mr. Kumar.

  • all indian foods tastes the same....

  • @ashkatmandou may ur taste buds are dead get habitual of eating nice n tasty food first then u might feel the difference if this doesnt work then go visit a doctor.....

  • This kind of mild biryani is very popular in Calcutta

  • @soumicb

    Yes.

It reminds me too when I saw this video first. They have boiled eggs in that too. My dad use to bring us this for dinner when we were on travel via Calcutta.

  • HYDERABAD!!!!! Thats right... HYDERABAD. Thats where u need to go to if u ever want to even smell the real biryani. Not lucknow or delhi. U dont even have the slightest idea of biryani. Ur recipe is chicke curry + rice + colour. nothing more.

Sorry.. to be harsh.. but truth is not always easy to digest.

  • It look yummy!!! But u didnot add mint, corriander, and chillies. Does that taste the same ?

  • i have tried ur mutton curry and some of other recepies. they really turn good although with low spices they came good.so we should try the recepie first instead of putting our comments.if somebody doesnt like stop watching simple!

  • It should be a crime to cook biryani with out chilli

  • I MISS THIS DISH...MY INTERPRETER IN IRAQ USED TO BRING ME THIS DISH ALL THE TIME...CANT FORGET THE FLAT BREAD....SO DELICIOUS

  • Sexy Biryani.

  • I like your speaking voice... it is pretty. ; ) Thanks for the recipe.

  • good recipe but I have 1 suggestion, as u are Indian, if u dont use english-accent then it would be much. Just speak normally.

  • without gee is not BIRYANI,, you need to put gee ,

  • @batasi How to ruin a perfectly delicious elegant & healthy Indian recipe? replace the Ghee/mustard oil/sesame oil/fresh peanut oil with the oil from SG's native place, olive oil

  • @aparaajita10 well thanks for your comment , but i think olive oil once you heat it ,its go toxic ,and its dosent taste good ,and you dont get ,that real biryni with olive oil , what she done her is only mixing with chiken buna rice .its not biryani ,, thanks ,

  • @batasi the problem is that an Indian is messing up with the Indian recipe. That sure hurts.

  • bull shit procedure..

  • it really annoys me wen people like u put on an American accent, we can clearly hear ur Indian accent it does not suit u, u r Indian.. b Indian, b proud to b Indian, represent ur country where u were born ... shame on u...!!!

  • @iluvindia01 Hey broher, she is not putting on an accent. From her accent it looks like she was born in India, studied in good Christian schools in India and now you hear an accent that is a blend of American and the good "clipped accent' of British English from her days in school in India. . So go and chill bro!.

  • @iluvindia01. so you want her to speak in Indian Language??! then how are we supposed to understand?!

she speaks English so everybody can understand her, and this is how Indians sounds when they speak English!!

  • This tasted horrible, try it with tomatoes if you ever make it

  • YUMMM! I'm Eating Biryani right will i'm watching this.. I didn't make it butt ughhh i want more. haha

  • this is awesome! i'm going to make this recipe for my international friends for the first time today for lunch. I love how simple your recipes are! cheers!

  • you the queen of india food

  • @anandmakwana204

She mentioned already that this is just one of the other ways of making Biriyani. You tend to not realise that the recipe may differ accordingly with the individual and what they may prefer. Since it's her recipe, it's her way of making it. :)

One's own different way of making something isn't actually a waste of time.

  • bad recipe, cooking is not just saying but showing how to cook

  • This is not an authentic recipe. In real biryani chicken is used raw with partially cooked rice to begin with. Here you just mixed cooked chicken dish with rice and heated in oven for 30 min.

For real recipe see vahrevah.com link

  • no good,

    wasted my 7 minutes

  • @henrybrar mine too hahahahaahah

  • This lady even doesn't know how to cook rice. Forget about biryani.

  • @TheMaheswaran24 thanks for your comment. All comments are welcome.

  • DIS NEXT LEVEL INDIAN BITCH DOESNT FCKING KNOW HOW TO COOK + NEEDS 2 LEARN SOME ENGLISH SAYNOMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hannahzena She should learn how to cook when you learn some manners. I wouldn't eat anything of yours as I would probably lose my appetite as soon as you open your mouth. You can disagree with her method but you don't have to be so rude!

  • @sfehmi Wow Nice....

  • @TheMaheswaran24 -- That is how the rice is cooked for Biryani. Half cooked and then cooked along
