I just found out a way to "calm down" a heartburn, please "like" so others can see (if this is not a well known treatment): just lay down on your left meaning your left side of your body touching the bed. Its also the best position for reading.. I hope this works for you btw just read jasosiva's comment you can try this too

Make a cup of tea, add an inch of ginger, add sugar as needed and have it hot as soon as you can. It works for me, Thumbs up if this works for you!

Your diet can influence heart burn a lot. Eliminate caffeine and excessive alcohol consumption from your diet and try to stay away from sugar and grain products. A healty low carb diet with a lot of veggies and fruit will help too. I used to have horrible heart burn but since I`ve been following the above guidelines, I have zero heart burn.

Omg thanks airox i have heart burn and ive recently changed my diet and its goen away but sometimes i get schocks. Also if i become pregnet how do i stop heartburn with the babys weight?

What doi have It doesn't hurt and isn't in my throat it's in my chest and feels like their is somthing at the bottom of my throat and i wanna throw up but i cant.

can u die from heart burn? I feel all numb in my hands and legs. and my chest is all weird feels like it has liquid and at the bottom of my throat and i'm not tired but i'm yawning

just started getting heartburn never had it before in my life untill i was prescribed diclofenac a nsaid drug after taking that i was in agony for days i would wake up in the morning and within the hour the heartburn started again

I use to have bad heartburn when some foods. I took PepcidAC everyday even if I didn't need it, and now I rarely ever get heartburn at all.
