@ManintheArmor Nineball is the original nemesis, eternal plegue, and ultimate evil in AC lore. Athena is an oversized tirgger-happy nuisance thats hopped up on speed compaired to him. Besides Joshua was more of victim then an arch-enemy.

I beat the Mutant Core easily on hard without taking too much damage, I just spammed missles and grenades. Celo... he was rather tough because I used up all my grenades >_>

I beat him using my sword mech, swords on each arm and I actually beat him. You just gotta time it when he does his insane boosting which was pretty annoying.

Though seriously it gets annoying when I hear people saying, I beat him without taking damage. Yeah ok, your just beating him by staying up in the air all the time.

@artxia98 It might be because Omer blackmailed Joshua into attacking Anatolia by threatening to destroy Aspina, which is why an Omer AC (Celo) fights you after you destroy Aretha. No one knows for sure though.

Lol, this was easy... Use a Tellus with ALTAIR laser rifle, LAMIA AS missle and any shoulder AS missle. Then just fly the whole time pounding him with the AS missles and if you don't kill him then use the rifle. Or both. I got S rank and no damage =)

easy way to kill them both, alhough a bit cheating, is to get any weapon ( en rifle advised) and then 2 of those shoulder mounted beast nade guns and just blast him to bits when he runs out of fly juice or gets nocked back by the giant explotion. simple but cheating :D

Another is to get the Kojima Cannon arms and the single shoulder mounted one. You only get TWO shots, and you'll need them. Stay airborne and don't get hit while charging, and one shot will take Joshua out, and the second will take out Celo. Instant S-Rank.

Ok, listen up guys. I've only heard this from a few people but this is the story behind the end mission:

Joshua's home "colony", Aspina, gets taken "hostage" by one of the (minor) corporations, Omer Science (important for the fact they are able to manufacture and thus use Kojima Technology and weapons). He was then made to battle you with the Next Aretha, the big AC you fight first (so that isn't the White Glint AC).

Celo was there to make sure Joshua could finish the job...

However, Joshua was planning to defeat Celo and/or destroy Omer Science to try to free his colony, though he knew he would die/go crazy from the effort (possibly because Aretha was probably using Kojima excessivly).

He even saids he'll "...meet you on the other side...", if he kills you.

Like I said, this is only what I heard. I also heard that, supposedly, the Japanese story was like this, but the version we got had most of the story cut.

Yet, this is the best explanation I heard of so...

No. Joshua isn't in it. Beat this on Xbox360 on S and it says his name on the achievement. Celo is piloting the Testament you fight at the end, which is just a tuned and somewhat mirrored Type-Holofernes.

In for answer one of the ORCA ranked match Lynx's, i think its number 3 or 4 is described as "the second coming of Joshua O'brien" who is white glint's pilot in AC:4(duh) so its safe to say that he did die whether he was piloting Aretha or not.Keep in mind For Answer takes place 10 years after AC:4. Either way he obviously isnt the pilot of the newley manufactured white glint as seen in the opening of For Answer

@racergsxr1 In AC4, Joshua pilots a different looking, older generation model of White Glint. After Anatolia's mercenary defeats him in the final battle, he leaves Anatolia with Fiona. While doing this, he inherits and rebuilds/upgrades White Glint, then continues using Joshua's emblem. The female you hear is White Glint's operator, not its pilot. That's Fiona, your operator from the first game. She basically speaks for him, considering how you, and him, never have a voice.

Something along the lines of that. Joshua even comments the mercenary should hate him, since the mercenary is never informed that Joshua was blackmailed to destroy Anatolia until later.

Thats the way to fight... with a good AC equiped with standard weapons, none of that super kojima guns stuff. A real pilot can hold his own without such weapons, just him and his skills behind a trusty rifle; thats all you need.
