They were in New Haven probably less than a week before filming began putting Chapel Street shops together, covering up street lights, landscaping the campus etc.
Yeah, I happened to be at summer school at the Yale camus when they were doing this, and it was amazing! Sadly, the tryouts for the extras were before we got there, and I don't think they would've let us anyway... Those security people were pretty mean though. The classroom set was outside where I had my classes, and if I even had my phone out, they'd yell. I don't even have a camera phone!
I almost went to the extras casting in New Haven but the line was so long and I didn't really want to wait it out. I wish I did. :( But anyways it kicks so much ass to have something like this in Connecticut! Great!
yeah right name the actors name is denholm elliot he was also the butler in trading places with dan ackroyd who has a cameo in temple if doom shame denholm died some years back
Very cool. How long have we been waiting for the cameras to start rolling on this? There must be a lot of location shooting to have that amount of street dressing and attention to detail.
I hope you never take these videos down! I love watching them and reliving the memories from those couple days in New Haven...
