The comic permits you to see things from multiple perspectives, e.g. thought bubbles/monologues. 12 volumes of Watchmen develops characters until you feel what they experience. How can a 2 hour film replicate this?
To add insult to injury they changed the plot, making it nonsensical and omitting meaning and substance.

The whole point of the graphic novel and the movie is that mankind is too stupid and weak to to the right thing and thus we need to accept living with the wrong thing. NY gets nuked so that the US and the USSR will be buddies and no one will fight against oppression anymore.
this is just an example of some idiot who prematurely judged the movie because they didn't read the graphic novel. i'll admit, it is slightly confusing the first time through if you didn't read the gn, but come on! make at least a little effort to understand it! besides, the WHOLE POINT of Watchmen is to eccentuate the flaws of society, and question the values that we hold in place.
while I highly agree if you, i also think that, by putting the giant squid away, the crew made the movie lose a bit of sense. I mean, SPOILER!: why would ozy kill blake if he didn't the squid being built?

Twilight got a miss because you couldn't tell what was going on with the "other" vampires, but this one is just, "I'm sure, and hope that these [questions] get answered in the full feature" (3:33-3:40). these two jugheads are a perfect example of exactly why the movie bombed. audiences cannot handle subtext, or weigh content without instruction.
THE WATCHMEN ARE AMORAL. It is a dystopian satire; even the heroes are deeply flawed, their motives corrupt, sociopathic, narcissistic.

Just so you know, they are all bad guys. The whole point of the graphic novel and the movie is that mankind is too stupid and weak to to the right thing and thus we need to accept living with the wrong thing. NY gets nuked so that the US and the USSR will be buddies and no one will fight against oppression anymore.

this is just an example of some idiot who prematurely judged the movie because they didn't read the graphic novel. i'll admit, it is slightly confusing the first time through if you didn't read the gn, but come on! make at least a little effort to understand it! besides, the WHOLE POINT of Watchmen is to eccentuate the flaws of society, and question the values that we hold in place.

while I highly agree if you, i also think that, by putting the giant squid away, the crew made the movie lose a bit of sense. I mean, SPOILER!: why would ozy kill blake if he didn't the squid being built?

Wait! What? How prejudiced are you? Twilight got a miss because you couldn't tell what was going on with the "other" vampires, but this one is just, "I'm sure, and hope that these [questions] get answered in the full feature" (3:33-3:40). Granted, you had to know the book to really get the movie, but there is just no objectivity in your judgement of the trailers. That's my opinion, take it for what its worth.

aaaargh... cmon. it s not that hard to understand. make an effort, and maybe your brain will react: they were on the good side, but the people (that you can see rioting against the watchmen) don t want their help. nevertheless, they don t realize they need their help, but Rorschach, on the watchmen's behalf, reacts to humanity s unchangable nature, by leaving them to their own fate. at least, that s how this trailer puts it.

i have watched a few episodes of this show now, and i have to say that it is just stupid, hit and miss for twilight and hit and miss for let the right one in? this is just stupid, if you want a tween perspective on these trailers watch these people if not just watch the trailers on their own

Holy crap those two idiots ruined the trailer at the end. what the hell? Who thought it was a good idea to cut the trailer short to show them instead of showing the title "Watchmen". It ruined the effect of Rorschach looking at the camera.

okay in my opinion the movie sucked .
it was the longest weirdest 3 hours of my life and i"d never recomend it to anyone .
throughout the movie the superheroes would continuously"go at it" in the bed room . and itz like wtf are you doing you horny faggets . other than that most of the characters were assholes and wasted the time of the movie . but < i must say i really enjoyed the character roshach (sorry if i spelled tht wrong) . yeah so thtz basically it .
