@kosstheory Actually, I don't think people should jump to conclusions like dove1 did. Its odd how people view it differently. I was moved the way it was done. I like the idea of it going back pre 9-11. To me it was translated as going back and changing shit. it would take a lot of money to implement this stradegy but it will cost much more if we don't. the energy companies will take the biggest hit, but in the long run we will become stronger from the inside out. when people begin to feel more independent they will come out of their shells and start spending again. the stimulas plan will not work, most americans are too far in debt for a few hundred bucks to make any kind of difference, dont give them money, let them generate their own.

Here's how we do it.....Federal Mandate:all commercial/freight vehichles convert to ethanol/hybrid, all passenger vehichles convert to compressed air/hydrogen cell, and most homes equipped with solar panels, the commericial vehichles need the power so they get the ethanol which can only be produced in limited runs, the passenger vehichles don't need the power (we'll just have to leave a little earlier for work) and well solar is self explanitory. no more fossil fuel
