Very cool video. I keep coming back to watch you play...I don't get impressed very easily, but you are one smokin' guitar player. Very helpful video for me since I'm thinking picking up a Tonebone Am Classic. The Trimode sounds fantastic (so does the Mudhoney)! Incredibly tight drive tones man. Thanks~
You seem to always have underlying effects on so its hard to tell what the effect would sound like. what do you have on in the begining it sounds like a delay and tremolo or roto vibe effect
those are some great chops but that camera is distorting your beautiful beautiful sound. That was a very very nice little wing. If i could play anything like that I would just play that non-stop.
incredible gear and playin, but why not just buy a nasty heavy driven amp instead of all these pedals -- dont get me wrong, not tryin to bash. also, you should check out, if you havent already, the Tease RMC line of wahs, i like em better than budda. all n all tho, great tone
yea i know that, but the screamer is a OD, and the mnumdhoney is an OD, i just wanted to know how they sound offhand because i dont have access to both.
Hey could you tel me how you get that sustaining space sound that sound so beautiful what kind of delay are you using or is the Fender Vibrolux reverb? what year it is and what speakers are you using?
yeah man, seriously you have a future in playing guitar. you're an excellent player. the phrasing, the vibrato, its great. You remind me of some sort of hybrid between eric johnson and santana.
oh mannnn and your rendition of little wing was great..i wish the audio quality was better, i really think you should do it again with the same quality as you playing the LP in the beginning.
I like your gear...The TC VPD1 doesn't sound that great, but it works...I love the LP custom (have you taken off the pickguard, it looks pretty sweet w/o it). I'm not sure why your using the Budda wah...I've got a 535q that sounds a little better. Anywho, I guess its just pref. Great playing...thx for sharing
Nice demos and thanks for the text that says what FX you're running for the various clips. Wish you worked the retail outlets I've shopped, where the sales staff have no idea what their FX rigs can do.
i think i just discovered one of the amps of my dreams

no not that, singles can be just as strong as humbuckers, i know for a fact. Custom wound pups by stephens are hella strong
supern00b 4 years ago
Yeah, they can be as strong as HBs if they are custom wound that way. As a general comparison singles will have a lower output. Just sayin'.
aslandean 4 years ago
yea, commercial singles are usually castrated
supern00b 4 years ago
Hey, bro. What are your settings on the Trimode? Nice chops, for sure.
aslandean 4 years ago
I like the gibby, but the fender pups seem kinda weak.
supern00b 4 years ago
Yeah, thats because they're single coils. By nature they're weaker than humbuckers on the LP.
aslandean 4 years ago
wow...you are amazing...and what a great gear...WOW
