  • watch the mighty boosh it's awesome you would love it

  • You like all my favorite shows. But you NEED to see the IT crowd

  • @ZADER4427 And the peep show

  • it's also why a US show can be cancelled half way through a run, whereas UK shows that simply doesn't happen to because the shorter series mean production is already complete. It makes it less of a risk for the channels to try something new as well.

  • a quick FYI, Whites wasn't cancelled, so much as it wasn't re-commissioned. British telly is usually filmed as complete series, finishing production months before broadcast. Unlike the US trend of still being in the middle of filming a series when the 1st episode is broadcast. The main reason for this difference is that the USA is obsessed with having 20+ eps in a series to keep people coming back because there's so much more channel ratings competition, whereas UK series tend to be 6-12eps.

  • Dont know if you'll read this Dodger, but if you like Sci-Fi shows, mixed with comedy, a great British show would be Red Dwarf! I only bring this to your attention now, because soon (December 2011) they are making a new season! HUZZAH! My fav show... new season. Oooooh yeah! =P

  • the peep show is on hulu and its pretty good it has some actors from whites
