  • Tammy also recorded a solo version on her "Straight From The Heart" album in 1971.

  • Great love?! George used to beat the living shit out of Tammy. Don't get me wrong...I love George's voice and songs...there aren't any others even close to his talent. But, you can't forget he was a wife abuser.

  • What a great love they had!

  • Awesome...Magical!!!

  • Shelby Lynne cant even come close to Tammy. Watch the George and Shelby Lynne version though because George is GREAT in that one has all the rest.

  • Mr. Jones sings effortless!! Long live the

    King!!

  • 1:11 talk about bending n draging your notes.. awesome

  • KING GEORGE AND HIS QUEEN, TAMMY !!

  • Two wonderfully talented artists - it just doesn't get any better than this. Tammy's voice will never be outshone by anyone and neither will George's. They are unique and are such a perfect duo. I have always loved this song. It's so romantic and I wish there were love songs these days that really say something beautifully. The writer of this song knew just how to bring true country gold to all the fans. Thank you for posting this treasure. - Paula

  • I wonder if George was drunk during this. Either way he sounds great. Tammy too, god bless her.

  • The template for Robert Plant and Allison Krause.........

  • Absolute perfection -- better than their recording of this song. It's unreal that they could perform live so flawlessly. Wow. Thank you for posting this.

  • can you get a better duet! Their harmony is great in this one.

  • Now this is a love song!!!

  • Superb!

This is another favorite I've been singing along to for years and am so happy to see a video version. I believe George recorded this as a solo as well.

Happy Day! Thank you for posting this joyous music.

  • @vmcla Yes, indeed, George recorded this as a solo. I remember it from the middle 1960s, I believe. It was my introduction to the perfections of George Jones's singing.

  • great job ,my dads faveort

  • absolutly WOW...beautiful on record and even better to actually see Mr and Mrs Country Music perform theyre first single on Epic records together on video

  • Perfect! I used to hate going to see a group sing only to watch them turn the one song I liked into a nutty scenario. These 2 are right on the mark!

  • This is ridiculously good! Close Nashville now, your best have come and gone.

  • THE BEST!

  • wow never seen this on video!!!!!!! sweet!!
