I think this video is great. I've been doing the MiniMoog overload trick for ages and I've never heard it scream and squeal like this! So I learned something :)
@JingleJoe i am not a troll, i have oppinions. if somone spammed all your vids with good comments, technically they would be a troll to.
im just honest, wether i come accross as a bitch or not. i have never listened to dr horrible before but if it sounds like this, im not particularly interested. i like real dark wave/industrial tech like aural vampire. if you are trying to do a demo of something, your mont to play something impressive to show off the instruments ability, not this shit.

@Erulastielworrior Why are you so hostile? :\ I'm just having fun with some instruments. I am playing with one hand because I have to hold the camera with the other hand. Additionally it is a monophonic synth so it's a little impractical to play with two hands.
As for my clothes, when I walk down the street all eyes are on me because I've dared to be different, I make the world more interesting.
I learnt "he's a pirate" ages ago but I cant remember how to play it now.

With all the bits and pieces I've seen, I'd say you have gathered around you about 40% of a live show. Props, costumes, music... with a little work, you could build yourself an act, maybe provide ambiance and entertainment for a meeting of like minds, if you assemble these parts into a greater whole.
@42fba Yes, thats about right :) I have a friend in manchester who wants to start a band with me. Thinking about it I don't really want an ACT, if I go on stage I just want to play my music :) It's be great to play gigs for us madmen though!
P.S. They aren't costumes, these are my normal clothes ;)

Nevertheless, what I play in this video has a tune and it is not just toneless noise, if you listen closely you will hear music from Dr horrible, The american national anthem, along with a few other bits and peices. Most of it was improvised but my purpose was only to demonstrate this nice dirty sound I'd found, not play anything specific.
I'm the other musician who would be working with Joe. :D
I'm between your ideas and Joe's. We're both focussed on the music, but I think there should be some more theatrical element to the stage show. Something to liven things up.
I don't really know what anything's going to be like until we start practising and rehearsing. All I know is that it will be awesome.
Also, this synth is made of sex and win. I loves it. :D
