@Mecquita Live action is quite common nowdays. Sailor Moon has a tv series too (it's not the best, but it's pretty cute :D), so does Ouran High and others shows have movies (Kimi ni todoke, NANA, Death Note etc). Black Butler has musicals as well.

yes the costumes need to be MUCH slimmer and SKIMPIER! Its been an on going joke of the enemies that the sailor scouts wear really tight and slutty clothes, although they are very cute.
