I have PAL, which is better. PAL or NTSC, and no I'm not stupid, I know that NTSC runs faster, is the intended way to play but I've heard of lag with NTSC and that the game is easier with PAL. I don't know whether to believe this (potential) tripe, but could someone please confirm this for me.

I've heard that it's not that big of a deal. Only a few people have preferred PAL over NTSC, so I would say that NTSC is likely better for you since you're probably already used to it.

I've actually heard that PAL lags "more" than NTSC too, but I haven't played the PAL version properly, so maybe you could ask ingx32 or taz0604. Both of them have played both versions extensively and have opposing views on NTSC vs PAL.

This game was beyond supreme when it first came out. I always loved this level more than Titania. Titantia was gay as shit.

Is there a specific order in which you shoot the rock groups at the beginning to get the most points out of them, or could you shoot them in any order and still get as many points from them as you did? I usually get 61 hits after the rock shooting if I'm lucky.

The order doesn't make any difference,

you just have to shoot right above them when they're at the right distance,

so that each of them is indirectly hit by the explosion twice.

61 hits is quite good, my best was about 72,

just keep trying

and.. use the brakes wisely ;-)

Should I play this level for high scores on the VC? You said it was easier to brake and shoot at the same time using the Classic Controller.

Yes, but in this level you don't have to shoot that fast anyway, so there shouldn't be a problem on the N64.

Only the tank levels i'd say.

The Arwing is awful to handle on VC, i am still not really used to it.
