I've only recently (as in tonight) started a playthrough of the whole game as Ada with a fully working cheat on the GameCube, and I must say, I am super glad that mine has none of this glitchy problem!

Even has her gun acting like a Rocket Launcher (just have to be careful it doesn't turn into one, as it can do that easily...anyway, shame your old try at it didn't work well. Perhaps you've gotten what I'm trying with ported Gecko codes?

I've done something like this in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. After the part where you control Carlos, I used the Unlock all doors code and I entered the one room where you get the park key. Then I left and the hospital was blown up and it was acting as if I'd already healed Jill. For the rest of the game I played as Carlos with Jill's voice.
