so, are you guys officially hooked? going on cruise #5 this February! personally i like the muster drill... for some odd reason... i don't, to me is signals the beginning of an epic adventure. embarkment day is always my fav.... but thanks for posting this, the muster drill is pretty funny at times!

We had to wear those stupid life jackets for our muster drill last year, but when we went on our cruise this year, they had done away with that requirement, thank goodness! It's bad enough to stand there in close proximity to everybody else getting all hot and sweaty and listening to those loud annoying horns.

i was on exploree of the sea we had our drill at 415 we did not have to put on our life jackets we went to the dining room doing the drill

Royal carribean is an amzing cruise line and u picked the best cruise 2 go on a 1st crusie....Ive been on 3 carribeans and 1 princess i am also going on the new ship oasis next year so i hopw u enjoyed it!!

I love all Royal Caribbean Ships. Each one of them is different and unique. The interiors and lobbys are wonderful and so are the staterooms.

Also, most of Royal Caribbean ships all have unique and different muster drill alarms.

@akcynlyn Don't be so sure that it was the Disney ship across from you. Mariner of the Seas does of air horn alarms too. It might have been those. But then again, it might be Disney, but I do not see why two muster drill would be happening at once. Maybe just a weird coinsidence. But I still think that it was Mariner's air horns.

Why are there two alarms going off at once? Is there both a tone and some kind of horn/strobe?

Royal Caribbean has a thing for having more than one tone for their alarm. The weakest alarm they have is one tone, a bell, and most of the time a the ships horn.

I LOVE this! The alarm signal on Voyager and Freedom class ships is so loud and incredible.
