metal gear solid 4 has the most advertising that i ever saw in 1 game. but honestly, who cares? its not like a mcdonalds screen just pops up out of no where and messes you up. if a game has billboards or something in i.e snowboarding game, so what?
its gives it more realism cuz u actually see billboards like that in real life. it gives the game a good appearance. i dont mind it.
Apart from the fact the music on this video really hurt my head, I'm not bothered about in game advertisements as long as it is subtle - I don't want a giant red bull pop up coming in the middle of my screen when I'm playing, but i won't mind seeing it on the side of an in game bus or the like. Cameos of characters from other franchises can also be pretty damn awesome ^^
I don't like the idea of advertisements in game. I don't mind it Red alert 2 style (McBurgerkong, etc.) But I will complain if a product where I pay 50 Euro for, is scarred with day to day commercials.
bullshit they will lower the price, they want more money at the inconvenience of the consumer, they don't give a shit about us. I hate television, and that's exactly whats going to happen to gaming if we don't fight against it.

For me, its not that in game ads are annoying or anything(yet,until they make pop-ups,but that won't happen)
I just figure that just like with t.v. and public radio, its ok if you put ads on it,as long as its free(radio except for sirius)
or the price gets reduced( basic cable,not the ch.'s you have to buy)
So I figure fine, put ads in the game, but don't make the game $50-60.you know?
Games are getting too expensive and if they wanna add all these ads in it they could lower game prices.
