I saw this video a couple of days ago here. I was 9 years old when John Lennon was killed, and this video brought back the sadness. My parents had been Beatle fans, and my my siblings had been brought up listening to their music, so his death was a big thing to us.

Whenever I hear this tune, I have to think about how many different styles are included in this tune. Including what sounds like a little rap (you know rap was already being recorded Lennon's unfortunate death). I do wonder and always will what might have been for music and maybe better incorporation of all forms of music (and not the disintegration of both pop and rock) if Lennon had lived (I very well could see Lennon being a producer).
