In the origin I dont think Shepard should meet all these people that are going to be part of her crew in order to make it agree more with the game. I feel that a ME 1 movie should be made then a prequel could be in the works later so that die hard fans will have something familiar to see in the beginning and they can go more in depth later.

@mlwillful It's not meant to be agreeable with the game. The game has like 12 key characters,10 locations and like 16 side stories. It's literally impossible as the introductory film to the franchise. I know, cause I am adapting it at the moment. Yes, my origin story deviates a little bit, but it explains what is Mass Effect tech, it introduces some familiar characters early for the fan and it's a good story for general audience to enjoy. First Contact War is a great choice for Prequel.

@TheScottishwolf ummm... you are probably right. I may need to change it. I was just thinking about getting the shots for the movie TRAILER. Explosion check. Space battle check. Shootout check. storyline check. hot chicks in sexy outfit... missing. But yea, it will hurt the believability of her character.

Eh, the flirting plan is a bit too much of a peep show. It'll cause Shepard to go down the road of becoming an eye-candy type of heroin, instead of the actual believable heroin that you're aiming for.

@udaho456 umm... so I didn't get away with it. Maybe it's the pictures I put up, but could it be dependent on what "skimpy outfit" she wears? Skimpy has a spectrum i believe.

Isn't too cliche for Trent to be kinda an asshole who makes wrong desicions? wouldn't it be better to have him being somewhat antagonistic but also likeable and clearly capable? that way his future inevitable death would be so much more powerful

@QuickSilverD It's Tommy (Shepard's teenage sweetheart) who is placing his personal feelings above of his professional duties. Not Trent.

@simongenius1 I know, I was refering to 2 bad choices Trent did that show him as a bad leader/analizer/strategist:

1st-) assuming that a distress signal was send and not bodering to investigate the situation

2nd-) trying to leave for the hill went it should be common sense for him to assume the planets defence system were compromised, given that he already knows the batarians cut comunications and thus are clearly hacking stuff around.

@simongenius1 part 2 cont... because ME Universe has so many characters and stories, a potencial ME1 movie will have to cut back stuff, not ad to them, so leaving threads handing from this prequel (Trent as the comanding officer instead of Shepard) is IMO a bad idea.

That is why I said before that Trent should die, but like I said before his death will carry more weight if the audiences likes him, even if he comes off as kind of a prick sometimes

@QuickSilverD I don't think you need to kill all the characters who won't appear in ME1. They can simply drift apart, because it is like 10 yrs later. 2ndly, i agree with what you said about Trent, except i'm doing something different. You'll see why next episode.
