Mike didnt say they had a weird sound, he said (not quoting) that they have a sound that is directly stolen from the 70's and that they are stuck in that period, not moving on with things. And fair enough if you have your opinion on Patton's music, but for the record, most professional musicians in the business would stand behind him in a fight with Wolfmother.
