  • AA** congrats :P

  • Still waiting...

  • What a bunch of crap! You sheeple vote in Democratic or Republican and Private industry buys BOTH candidates (AIG gave both Obama and McCain 1 million, biggest campaign contributor) and nothing changes.

  • you sir are a corporate bought liar...how does it feel to sell your country down the road to abject poverty...this IS your country...right?...you said so...oh wait...i forgot...you lie!

  • tell America how you paid off george soros with 2 billion dollars of our stimulus money so he can drill for oil in venezuela ,boy those favors sure are expensive, oh thats right its not your money right? liar, marxist piece of garbage.stop odumba now vote to clean out this congress,we need new blood and people like barney, boxer, feinstein, pelosi and reid gone in 2010

  • Fuck you 0bama, you racist piece of shit! Go back and sit in Wright's racist antiAmerican church sopping up your black liberation theology like you have been doing the last 20 years.

Nobody gives as shit about you 0bama except for cult which is nothing but racist blacks and racist guilty whites.

  • You really need God in your life. You have a lot of something going on with you and its not Obama's fault. Find peace and love and then speak.

  • @Man, I am afraid you are the racist... can't you rise above racism? Don't you see we are all in the same boat?

  • You all sound like you've given up. Hey, I lost my job, too. But I say GO OBAMA!!! We can no longer have an economy based on credit card, mortgage or other debt. Scientific innovation is the key: solar, geothermal, wind, and nuclear power. I want to research this. This will create jobs and a reduction in global warming. In addition, this is NOT the only planet we have. Our destiny is to reach out into space...

  • Big Tent Democratic Party is made up of (1) Progressives and (2) Reasonable Conservatives (Blue Dog Democrats).

Republican Party is made up of (1) A few Reasonable Conservatives and (2) RethugliKKKans (Birthers, Deathers, Racists, Fundamentalist Christians, Neocons, Right Wing Nuts etc).

  • Oh boy, you are SO right!

  • "Stephen Hemsley, CEO and president of UnitedHealth Group Inc., earned $3.2 million in 2008, a decline of almost $10 million from what he received a year ago"

"In 2007, Hemsley received $8.1 million in options and $3.6 million in incentive pay." - The Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal

  • United Health CEO, Stephen Hemsley, makes $3.2 million/yr. MORE than $100,000/hr. This is NOT about an Entrepreneur who came up with a brilliant, productive idea! Just a Corporate Mafia Boss that buys politicians (esp. RethugliKKKans) and brainwashes people to defend their THEFT, calling it Capitalism! False! NOT Capitalism! This is THEFT! The Entrepreneur I mentioned, is a deserving capitalist. I am ALL for Bill Gates! These CEOs are MURDEROUS BANDITS who DENY us CARE, sending MANY to death!

  • Yeah we have to watch our spending while Princess Polosi and her minions buy new jets and want to give us a health care plan that they refuse to take for them selvs. If you believe this horse s#it that spews from any polotitions mouth, your just as screwed as the policies they are forcing on us. But you people want to make everything about race, but it is you who are the real racists. Lincoln a Republican, abolished slavery, and MLK voted Rep. Save the USA, or die trying. Be patriotic for once.

Hurricane & Volcano Monitoring : "Do Nothing!" broken International Relations : "Do Nothing!" Health Care Crisis : "Do Nothing!" And on and on : "Do Nothing!"
  • There is a DIFFERENCE between Spending and Investing. G.W.Bush SPENT AND SPENT WASTEFULLY!

President Obama is INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE!

Bush, wasting money on an unnecessary war in Iraq, does not help our economy in any way!

Obama INVESTING IN roads, schools, crumbling infrastructure, unemployment benefits to stimulate Consumer Spending etc, NOW, that's INVESTING!

If you inherit money and spend it on vacations--> SPENDING!

If you pay for solar panels on your house --> INVESTING!

  • If you butcher the GDP away by 50% and then have a 3% growth. Technically the recession ended under your term. None the less we will be living a pathetic life standards like that of the French.

  • Obama - A fraud you can't believe in.

2012 - He gets voted out. A new president to restore dignity to the White House.

  • You honestly believe he will lose the election?? Despite our disagreement about Obama as president, I would have to say its way too early to say he will get voted out. As much as I'd like to see him in for a long time, its the economy that makes all the difference. If the economy is still awful when the next election comes, he is out, but if the economy is humming again, he will get another term. Poli Sci and Econ are my areas of study, and presidential elections are definately an overlap.

  • He will lose if the economy is stagnant in 2012 and he continues to do things like up our troops and continue a war that he campaigned on ending.

His policies don't tell me he'll provide any economic growth. Afterall, cap and trade and socialized medicine mean huge taxes on the citizens after he said no tax raise on the middle class.

  • if economics is your area of study you should know that the president has very little to do with the economy right>? Our economy is a giant pyramid scheme with the federal reserve creating money out of thin air, and will continue to do so, constantly devauluing our dollar until a north American currency (amero - euro ) will sound appealing

  • The President directly has very little to do with the economy, but ideally he influences the economic through policies his supporters put up in Congress and that his cabinet executes wants approved. The President is considered responsible for more than that which he legally controlls, of course.

As for the pyramid scheme, I wouldn't call it that, but to each their own. I don't think the plan is the abolition of the dollar.

  • I hope for all our sake your right robertz. How are we gonna get any change when he puts someone like ghitner in his administartion....federal reserve and goldman saks cronie.....he promised change and weve seen no change...

  • When life hands you a nigger, make niggerade.

  • After reading MANY of your posts, I am now SURE that hundreds of YOU put together would hardly be worth 1 nigger!

Why is it YOU feel so INFERIOR to those you call nigger?

  • This is aimed at Armigerous.

    $20 billion for food stamps

$448 million for constructing a new Homeland Security Department headquarters

$88 million to help move the Public Health Service into a new building

$7.6 billion for rural community advancement programs??

$2.4 billion for carbon-capture demonstration projects

"Obama's plans to remake the US health care system and enact sweeping legislation to battle climate change, as well as fuel criticism of his handling of the economy.

"the nearly 800-billion-dollar economic stimulus package Obama and his Democratic allies pushed through earlier this year only swells the deficit and has

  • Repuglibans are so sure of their arguments, that they are BUSING THUGS around the Country to go DISRUPT Health Care DEBATES (Town Hall Meetings).

How "democratic" of these "freedom" lovers!

Repuglibans believe in the kind of Democracy that is VOID of The Freedom to Assemble and Debate Policies!

To them; Democracy is the Governing of the People, for the Corporate Mafias by their Repugliban G"No!"P Puppets.

  • Right now, Health Insurance Co.s (HIC) executives are STANDING between you and your doctor,

denying you treatment, cherry picking only the healthiest people to insure and yet denying them care when they fall sick. HIC execs are telling your doctor which pill to prescribe.

  • Let me clarify a HUGE Misunderstanding in America.

    YOU have CONTROL over Govt!

You DON'T have control over CORPORATIONS.

If you don't like a Govt, change it (Elections).

But you can do NOTHING against getting RIPPED OFF (Tyranny) by Corporate Mafias, like the Health Insurance Co.s. For example:

    - Discrimination of people with Pre existing Conditions.

    - Selecting ONLY the healthiest people to insure. - Dropping YOU when you fall sick (Cancer, Accidents, Need a transplant etc)

  • "Hey,Barack....who was that lady I saw you with last night?"

"That was no lady....that was the affirmative action colored girl I pimped out to a racist, patient dumping Chicago hospital for a $300k a year no show job after she got her law license yanked by the Illinois State Bar"

  • Armigerous,

I see SORE LOSERS from Nov 4th 2008, like you, have made this website a place to come have their collective catharsis LOL!

    Grow up morons!

The Grapes are sour, right? BWA HA HA HA HA HA !

  • May i know what are u enjoying with Barack holding office,

We want to know..what have u enjoyed with this government...providing to u?

What are your gains, personally. U get all the bragging rights here, if u are so enjoying them.

  • Sickofpundit...(liberal mouthpiece)

When the American people elected Obama we wanted a 'change' from failed Bush policies.

Remember Obama's line, "I will go through the budget line by line and cut out unnecessary spending." Then he passes an $800 billion stimulus package full of wasteful spending.

The election of Obama was not a mandate to continue corrupt and irresponsible spending and a larger fed. gov.

You may be the winner in all this. But America is the biggest loser.

  • Actually the Bush tax cuts resulted in a large net gain in revenue to the US Treasury just as they did during the Reagan years....the problem is that Federal spending during that period outpaced the income increase...and Bush had nothing to do with that...particularly since 2006....somebody's 'Bush Derangement Syndrome' is in full flower today.

  • The Bu$h tax cuts resulted in a bubble (large net gain that then crashes and burns) that burst and nearly destroyed America.

The clear 'deranged' people around here are the idiots that worship the likes of Palin and Pawlenty.

It just drives you nuts that Americans took back America for all Americans instead of the chosen few who espouse racism and isolationist tactics.

"Ain't nobody gots to be a slave No More! Now weese goin a take Turns. And guess whose turn it is now!"

    Firesign Theater.

  • And for the record, Reagan raised taxes 7 out of his eight years in office.

Your neocon historical revisionism only works on the kind of people that believe 'Jesus rode a Dinosaur' like Michelle Bachman.

  • Legalize Mary Jane!!!

  • Remember folks....when life hands you a nigger,make niggerade.

  • Just because your momma sleeps with anyone and everyone doesn't provide a good reason for you to be a racist fool.

  • reagonomics or voodoo economics was a marginal success. he did achieve three of the primary policy of reagonomics however he failed to reduce the growth of government spending. Government spending and deficits rose during his administration.

  • Well,he couldn;t reduce growth in spending for the simple reason that he had a Democrat Congress to contend with that was determined to spend every single dollar of extra revenue that came into the US Treasury as a result of the Reagan tax cuts...and they did just that

  • Now isn't that cute.....no,actually it's cutesy

  • Now I understand why Portugal went down the toilet 500 years ago

  • And dont buy into that liberal media bullshit! everyone knows the media is in fact owned by the republicans! fox news, cnn, nbc, etc etc etc.. several papers.. They are all an huge propaganda machine, that is trying to make the president look bad and give the republicans another shot. but i tell you, if the republicans get a new shot at the white house while the country is this frail, the house WILL fall down, we cant afford another bush.

  • Look..

After the deregulaton of national security under Reagan extra governmental agencies and foundations have branched into this. If yu bother doing some research you will find out that every president at least since Roosevet has emanated from these places. Wall Street interests run most of them, including the CFR and the foundations, where Obama comes from. The Neocons came from another one, also sponsored by the same money-powers.

This `change` is a cruel hoax, nothing more.

  • Dont be mistaken people, the republicans are in it for the rich people! they destroyed american economy with they excessive tax breaks for the rich only that didnt even needed it! Bush will go down in history as the worst president to ever sit in the white house! Obama is doing what he can, he is sincere, he does mistakes, he is HUMAN, just like you and me! He intends well and he is doing alot! But the republicans do their worst to block him up, health care blockage by the reps is an outrage!

  • Obama is the man, we know you are doing what you can mister president, we also understand the republican strategy is to block everything you try to do and hope american people are dumb enough to vote republican in the next ellection. Dont worry mister president, we will never vote republican again. And we sure hope to kick thos god damn republicans from the house and the senate. They are nothing but trouble and dont give a shit about america, they are only in it to fill their pockets!

  • What did you expect from a whore's trick baby?

  • He is just so full of ****

  • Well,if the time ever comes when I need a bastard alien pickaninny to make my decisions for me,I'll be sure and call on Barokeydoke Hubris Obozo

  • Armigerous may well be the best argument for post-natal abortion I have ever seen.

  • If he continues to be the only person who excepts to learn the change that is needed only his change will occur....when all learn to except what should be done...(Life Will be Changed)

  • He only speaks the truth..i know this because I understand how he speaks...you will only know this when you except to be better than he has become.....He does his best but he truelly does not know what the Best is...Yet*

  • Please watch my video.. I had a camera that has a special lens to it.. It shows the trueness in Obama.. Ok not really, but it shows what might be coming...

  • IMPEACH OBAMA! watch?v=vnptyqjmraM

  • watchdog alert a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism. - Fascism

  • Thus Obama is not a fascist.

He doesn't have anywhere near copmlete power, all opposition and criticism is freely allowed, industry is largely independent as is commerce, expect where market failures have occured (the economics term for when the free market doesn't work) and he is not nationalistic, and certainly isn't racist.

So you've proven Obama is not a fascist, congratulations.

  • Our economy won't get better till corruption in our government ends.

The federal reserve needs to be demolished.

The federal income tax needs to be revoked.

  • What does this accomplish? How do we handle economic policy?

This sounds to me like strengthening the states at the expense of the federal government, which is of no use to America. The states are just as corrupt as the fed in most instances, and usually less effective. Any change that doesn't strengthen citizen's rights directly or the nation as a whole (economically/militarily/etc.) is pointless and irrelevant. I doubt decentralization would serve any use, the states are worse than the fed.

  • Right now, Health Insurance Co.s (HIC) executives are STANDING between you and your doctor,

denying you treatment, cherry picking only the healthiest people to insure and yet denying them care when they fall sick. HIC executives are telling your doctor which pill to prescribe.

Yeah, HIC BUREAUCRATS standing BETWEEN you and your doctor!

Their ONLY purpose: DENY as much care as possible --> save HICs as much money as possible ---> get as much bonus as possible.

    So, MORONS, keep defending them

  • So we need a plan the lowers the cost of health care... not just the cost of insurance.

We need a plan that covers all Americans and keeps people from losing everything when something catastrophic happens.

We need to fix Medicare and reduce to cost of pills and doctors visits.

We need a bill that is not 1000 pages and impossible to read and decipher the legal jargon.

When our corrupt, incompetent congress can do that... most conservatives will back it.

  • They make the bill long and impossible to read because they want wiggle room, they want to leave everything open to interpetation.

We want a bill that is clear and concise. Our Congress is totally corrupt and I don't trust them. The Democrats seem to have found a good president, but his party is not looking out for our best interests.

Maybe if you guys can vote out some of these snakes in 2010 and get real leaders in Congress, we might get a bill that works for Americans.

  • Hello,kiddies....now why don't you all sit back and get comfy while Uncle Barky reads us another thrilling chapter of "The Great Pickaninny Okeydoke"

  • Armigerous the MORON!

    Is that ALL you got?

Sore loser! Now, go jump off a cliff!

  • Dear Federal Government: LEARN HOW TO BALANCE YOUR BUDGET AND NOT BORROW TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

  • Just so the American people know.. This is the man Barack Obama is getting his economic advice from.

  • Comment removed

  • Right on dude. We should be doing exactly what the Republican politicians say we should be doing right now...NOthing. Then I'd feel a whole lot better---NOT!

  • Nooo my post about there being no mention of the 24 trillion deficit was deleted.... Damn you whitehouse!!!

If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear! Yet this would prove the contrary.

  • Jesus,

Did you put any links in your post? You can't post links in your comments on Youtube.

Also it might have been marked spam.

  • Nope just made a comment on how Obama says it was the 785 mln dollar bail out that's helping stabilize the economy and doesn't mention anything about a 24 tln dollar deficit

  • fivestarmichael and Robertz1986:

    Dumb and Dumber

  • glerpdog,

I read the comments on your page. You appear to be a troll who doesn't get enough attention in real life. You have nothing intelligent to offer to any conversation so you act like an ass. Did your mother not spoon you enough as a child?

  • The kenyan bush baby lies some more what new.

  • Your national debt has always increased whether it is a democrate or republican. Follow the Canadian system and you guys will get increases in GDP and less national debt.

  • I simply don't see how you can hate this man. He had this recession and 13 trillion dollar debt handed to him. Conservatives have no right to criticize him after they destroyed our economy and out put us in a debt we can't end until the recession is over.

  • atleast; He and the democrats are what caused this recession, ever heard of fannie mae, or feddie mac, or how about Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Franklin Raines, and Johnson, just to name a few. Nobama was not handed a 13 trillion dollar debt, without the TARP, which only half was spent under Bush, the debt would have been less than a trillion dollars, much due to 9/11, and Katrina, also Iraq and Afghanistan. America will never be as great as it once was, after Nobama.

  • Official Totals: Department of the Treasury: Total National Debt: Day George W. Bush sworn in: $5,727,776,738,304.64 Day Barack H. Obama sworn in: $10,626,877,048,913.08 Today: 8-3-09 $11,669,251,349,504.65 These are the official numbers, if you don't believe me, go to the US Treasury Department website. Who will look at this and still perpetuate this lie that the right wing has been perpetuating that Obama created the bulk of American national debt and not Bush and others...
  • I have to wonder what hardcore Republicans were thinking when they saw Bush running up $1 trillion deficits every year. Did they think it was putting it all in a super-saver account?

You will find that most conservatives have very bitter feelings about Bush and friends. He lost all of my support when he invaded Iraq.

I was at a tea-party on Aug 1st and Judge Andrew Napolitano spoke. consistently dumping on the Republican party and receiving huge cheers from the 10,000 plus crowd.

  • I am an Obama fan and I usually vote Democratic, but I will tell you I don't love those people...

I'm pro-gun NRA member, anti-affirmative action, anti-illegal immigration, pro-military, and I don't give a damn about the UN and find the endless Democratic proposals to dictate and tax every aspect of life infuriating.

That said I'm an Atheist, pro-choice, ACLU member, who thinks Marijuana should be legal, childrens rights protected, and universal health created.

    No love for either party.

  • I actually laughed when I read your description. I am pro-gun, but I have no problem with immigrants, I believe in strong defense but I don't agree with either war. The U.N. is useless, And I find the endless Democratic and Republican proposals to spend money at every opportunity infuriating.

I am Christian, pro-choice, I think all drugs should be legalized, I am against the death penalty and I am against any healthcare proposal that is not universal... anything else is compromise.

  • I am also against the death penalty, lol.

My big thing is I am very anti-authoritarian in my politics, but to me that doesn't equate with small government, simply non-authoritarian government.

The only reason the Republican position on this doesn't appeal to me is because they spend so much time demonizing the federal government, then they go on to make oppressive government at the state or local government. I'm not for state's rights, I'm for citizen's rights.

  • I think both parties have been hi-jacked by people who no longer represent the ideals of their party. Bush and friends did not represent Conservative values. Just as Pelosi and friends do not represent true liberal values. They use these values as an excuse to expand gov. and spend more money.

  • robertz; Great profile, but you left out two important items, no. 1, you seem to have no concept of math, no.2, that you are completely full of shit.

  • robertz; I am not too inclined to believe these numbers, mainly because of the Sec. of the Treasury, has a problem with the truth and taxes, but if these numbers are correct, Bush lost 5 trillion dollars in 8 years, what was the cost of 9/11, Katrina, Iraq, and Afghanistan, at least 3 to 5 trillion, almost a trillion on TARP, half was left to Nobama, and in less than 6 months he put us in the hole for over a trillion dollars, at this rate, in 4 yrs. we will be down another 8 trillion.

  • This wasn't just released, these numbers have been available for ages. You can select any day since January of 1993 and see what the national debt was to the penny on that day.

The tarp money that Obama spent counts against him in these totals as I understand it. That said, revenue is down this year cause of the slummping economy while spending is up for economic programs, and the social security offset is disappearing as the funds get smaller.

  • robertz; The numbers may have been available since 1993, but we are discussing todays numbers, Timothy Giethner, who has problems with numbers, especially if they have dollar signs or are labeled taxes, which is common among liberals and progressives, is the Sec of the Treasury, need I say more about the numbers, if Nobama bankrupted America, you would blame that on Bush as an excuse also. Start looking at America as your country, politicians are all thieves and liars, no matter the party.

  • The Republican politicians get into just as much trouble for not paying taxes properly or promptly as the Democrats do.

As for Geithner and the numbers, the numbers are what they are, they were before he got in, and will be so after. The ONLY number he could have changed is the amount of today's debt as the Bush and Obama entry numbers were there before he got there. The numbers look exactly like you would expect for today, so I just don't buy that they're tampered. What would our debt be?

  • robertz; You talk about the numbers but do not do the arithmetic, by the numbers, Bush lost 5 trillion, and if you figure 9/11, Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan and the TARP, and subtract that from the 5 trillion, you would probably find Bush with a SURPLUS for 8 years, Nobama, a trillion lost in less than 6 months. ALL politicians are liars and thieves, irregardless of party.

  • As for bankrupting America, Obama is responsible for about 9% of our current debt. Bush is responsible for about 45% of our debt. If you don't believe these numbers, what do yours look like?

Also Bush went into office with billions of dollars in surplus. He left office with the economy collapsing and Obama with double the national debt he started with, and remember the 2008 defecit was over a trillion dollars in one year aswell! The Republicans have no solutions to our current problems.

  • robertz; Now you are trying that old scam with percentages, 9% versus 45%, you forgot to key in the time period, I do not think you are that dumb, and I expect you to respect my intelligence also.

  • Those percentages aren't a scam, though the time period does matter. That is simply a response to the argument MANY have made that Obama has run up more debt than any other president. That honor goes to Bush for the forseable future. Thats not to say Obama won't run up the most debt, but simply that he hasn't come close yet. Though its also worth noting that almost half of our yearly spending now is the interest on the debt we have, which Bush created half of.

  • robertz: You are one dumb fuck, if you expect anyone, who can count above ten without taking thier shoes off, to go along with the bullshit that Nobama has not put America into a debt we may never recover from, by blaming Bush, that shit dried up. Every President inherits the economy at inauguration, Bush did not cry, though we were in the beggining of a recession. If you can find someone to do the math, you will see that at 9%, or 1 trillion per 6 month period, is about 8 trillion in 4 years.

  • You are so far behind you think you're ahead. My math is fine, lets try your logic. You can't multiply $1 trillion by 8 because it was recovery funding that ran up the bulk of that along with reduced taxes, both a result of the total economic collapse from the Bush administration, and both of which should be temporary. When Bush entered, the economy started to feel sick, when Obama entered the economy was passed out drowning in a puddle of its own puke. Only an idiot would connect these events.

  • Bush also slashed revenue by cutting taxes and crashing the economy, when he entered with a budget surplus and a booming economy. The interest on his debt is now dragging Obama's budget into huge defecits, and the social security fund offset is much lower than when Bush entered office. At this point and time, a budget that is remotely close to balanced is not possible because of things set in motion long before Obama came in, and many of which Bush bears great responsibility for.

  • You forgot history. Time periods dealing with Presidential Administrations almost always show the majority of spending in the first six month with Presidents who work to repair the damages that follow Republicans.

Clinton did the same thing and ended up spending less then the ANY Republican President since Nixon.

The message that the Media NEEDS to be sending is JUST HOW MUCH OBAMA HAS TO SPEND TO FIX THE DAMAGE THE GOP DID.

  • You can't absolve the Democrats, they are just as responsible for this economic mess as the Republicans. Both welcomed the Keynesian approach & allowed the US to become the ultimate "welfare state." Blaming one party just highlights how ill-informed you are regarding the current economic crisis. Our current stimulus is much like the New Deal, which in the end will most likely prolong this recession.

  • Nonesense. Of course the Democrats bear some responsibility. But not for supporting Keynesian approaches.

The Republicans did not follow Keynes, but Friedman and his idiotic Monetarism.

Which just informs us all on how ill-informed YOU are on the current economic crisis as well as the Great Depression.

Revisionist Republican Big Money cronyism is trying to revision the hard fact that Roosevelt's Stimulus efforts were not only successful but took us to twice the GDP then prior to the fall.

  • "We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work."

    -- Henry Morgenthau Jr.

Even FDR's own Treasury secretary was able to admit the obvious, I guess you're more ill-informed that I first thought. Since you were incorrect regarding the New Deal, I would suggest you revise your current outlook regarding your economic knowledge. From LBJ's "War on Poverty" to the most recent stimulus bill, Keynesianism is still alive and well.

  • wodand; You seem to have the same mental disease that most progressives are afflicted with, loss of memory, Clinton started his term with the largest tax increase in history, then the republicans, under Gingrich, took control of congress, they forced Clinton to sign the welfare reform act, which he did not want to do, but now takes credit for its success. Clinton was forced to balance the budget, which he was against, also by Gingrich. Look it up, get a clue on history.

  • Riiight.

That's why they threw Gingrich out of office. He managed a hell of a takeover of Congress, But then dropped the ball.

Paygo was an act of Congress passed by the Democrats. Not Gingrich. He led us down the road of Deregulation and today's Crisis.

  • wodand; Todays "Crisis", check Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Franklin Raines, BILL CLINTON, Johnson, Rahm Emmanuel, and Nobama. You will be surprised how the sub-prime mortgages, giving people who could not afford loans, up to 110% of the price of the home, nothing down, were started, who pushed them, who kept fannie and freddie from being regulated, and if you check you will also find Bush tried and McCain tried to put a bill in the Senate to regulate these loans.

  • it wont pass while your spending MORE than you have...

  • Guys, the President is doing what he is suppose to do. calm the public fear. Relevant was that the economy was heading towards the cliff and was adverted. By Bush and Obama. The bank bailout was started by Bush and continue by Obama. Relevant is that it will take time to get to the point where new hiring can start so be patient. the rest was fluff to calm the public. It is interesting that Obama is following Bushes foreign policy . But then again he is a smart guy.

  • Well if it isn't the Dear leader himself. Trying to sell more b.s.

Isn't it great the Obushama stimulus was rushed through to keep unemployment under 8%?

    Now its 9.5%

Fool me once SHAME ON YOU!

Fool me twice shame on me!

  • The reason we're in a recession is because of inflation and he's really fixing that problem by creating more of it.

  • Fuck Obama, he only won because of sneaking in Mexicans to vote for him and most black people because he is black

(Oh yeah did you guys hear he spent a lot of out tax dollars on why pigs stink)

  • You ignorant stupid fuck.

  • Every time this guy opens his mouth all he does is tell more lies.

    Preach on Pastor Obama.

  • Why are the drug companies in support of Health Care Reform?

Because they a helping to write the BILL.

Wow we deserve to be wage slaves if we continue t listen to people like Obama and Barney

  • Yea it was only 785 mln dollars that helped... never mind the $24 trillion deficit!

  • His constant mentioning of "The World" is clear enough evidence of his focus, as opposed to any mention of the Country he was ELECTED to lead.

  • Hello everybody =)

    Don't worry, be happy!

  • That's so we will all know he is a 'world class okeydoke'

  • he mentions "the world" alot.

  • Well,geez....all we're trying to do is to show you just how gutless and faggoty the boy is for choosing to spend $1m to keep his BC secret instead of being 'transparent' with the American people like he said he would,,,,it's not MY fault that a renegade bitch nigger chumped you

  • I say we spend about $20 billion in stimulus money to build a giant rocket. To shoot all of the Birthers, 9/11 and Chemtrail conspiracy theorists into outer-space.

The whole country is collapsing, our entire gov. is corrupt. There are more important things to worry about.

  • I don't know what the Chemtrail bit is, but if they're anything like the Birthers or Truthers, I 2nd the motion to launch them into space... preferably the sun so they can't accidently survive and pollute the rest of the universe.

I typically vote Democratic and I'm a fan of Obama, but I have lost a huge amount of confidence in the Democrats and I can barely stand to hear Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid talk...

The Republican leadership though has a very special place in hell reserved for them.

  • you're not really watching obama are you?

  • You should question the Democrats in Congress, they are being paid off by special interest groups as well. 8 out of 10 of the wealthiest Congressmen are Democrats.

Pelosi's net worth is around $20 million. If you want to get rich during this recession find out where she is investing her money.

She seems to be doing a better job with her own money.

  • I am of the opinion that the Republicans are currently far more corrupt than the Democrats, and on issues like healthcare for instance it seems pretty clear that the Republicans are stuffing their pockets with bribes from the health industry lobby, and I think many "blue dog" democrats are aswell. There is no legitimate reason to try and kill healthcare reform. They could propose a serious alternative to the current proposals, but they haven't, big business is their master to the exclusion of us

  • You should visit the website Opensecrets (dot) org and see where the money flows.

People are definitely being paid off. Many by the Pharmacuetical industry paying off Democrats to guarantee this bill passes without price controls.

Many conservatives agree that we need reforms. Rush Limbaugh has said we definitely need to cover people facing catastrophic hospital bills. Arguing that we already have socialized medicine through Medicare, so why not fix it and expand it to help those in need?

  • I would prefer fully socialized medicine simply as everyone needs it and we don't get much bang for our buck. The health insurance industries costs big money but provides no service other than telling you what you can and can't get done. The government would too, but not at a profit.

That said, I would be willing to accept compromise, but that would have to include a ban on refusing sick customers coverage.. and guarantees of medical care regardless of ability to pay.

  • Obama has faced a large challenge passing reform because no one is really clear what is in the bill... including Obama.

One congressman commented it's 1000 thousand pages, you need a week and two lawyer by your side to even understand what is in it.

I have watched all of Obama's videos addressing health reform and he seems to either waffle or throw out vague answers. Perhaps if Congress had passed something on line people could actually understand, it would help.

  • My dad found out he had cancer and died within weeks this year. 8 days in the hospital and 4 follow up radiation treatments uninsured cost $200,000. I got left holding the tab, I don't need to pay, but his estate is insolvent as a result. The government won't cover anything because he died too fast to finish filling out the forms.

This is the sort of thing that drives me nuts.. everyone needs healthcare so why not just make it universal? The insurance lobby is paying to stay in business now.

  • The insurance lobby is definitely buying off Congress and it is a crime. And it reinforces everything I have said about the state of affairs. We can't trust them, they aren't looking out for us. Which is why I keep telling people that we need to quit bickering with each other.

You have to admit it is a pretty big step when Rush Limbaugh admits our system is messed up and it needs to be fixed. It just needs to be fixed without special interests influence.

  • My big issue is trust. I trust Obama because I genuinely believe he is looking out for the people, he is a politician, but I think he gives a damn.

The Democrats I think are trying to do whats right, but they are probably paying back political favors to special interests groups in how they craft legislation. The Republicans I don't think even care about healthcare or reform.

I wish the government had some neutral fact finding so we could get a clean and non-partison report on something.

  • Obama is kind of President this country needs. He is not a career politician or an insider. However, he really needs to hold Congress more accountable. The Democrats could pass reform without a single Republican vote.

Have you seen the movie Dave? Where he sits down with opposition and calls them out in front of the cameras.

Obama can call these people out. Yes, he will lose support from his own party, but at least he will be getting something done.

  • Sorry to hear about your dad. We need to get rid of the corrupt bastards destroying this country. They are supposed to be public servants, not millionaire career politicians stuffing their own pockets.

  • One problem I think is that we have gotten to the point where every single major issue is partisan, and no bill can go forward without becoming a pawn of a turf war between the Democrats and the Republicans over who is more powerful, and trying to sabotage each other. As a result nothing gets done... I think corruption is a result of gridlock, people cashing in on what they know is futile anyway..

  • Yes, everything has become too partisan. They want us to think one party has the solution and the other party doesn't. When neither party is interested in a solution that is best for the American people.

I have both Democrat and Republican friends, so believe me, I am not always the most popular person in the room. Of course all of my friends see the same paradox I do. They are keeping us divided because they are scared shitless that we would actually work together against them.

  • Yeah, I think this is all true. Also you get the ignorant bastards like glerpdog, who are seemingly so far to one side or the other that they hate moderates.

Honestly I feel like the Democrats and Republicans both have points they legitimately care about, but both will stop genuine efforts from the opposition if they think they can score a point. What always brings this home for me is when the Democrats attack gun rights, I think mainly to stop Republicans from scoring political points.

  • It's like the whole Sotamoyor confirmation. The Republicans just embarrassed themselves. Yes, Obama was dangling for Hispanic support. However, Hispanics make up 18% of the population. They deserve representation on the court.

I can't understand Conservatives who talk about individual responsibilty and keeping the gov. out of our business... yet they support anti-abortion laws. Life is precious but they also support wars and the death penalty.

  • As for immigration, I'm just no comfortable with the scale of immigration. I don't feel we are obliged to learn Spanish, nor have Spanish road signs, etc. Also I have always been disturbed by the power of the Catholic church is hispanic nations. This may or may not be justified, but the power of the Church culturally is something that I worry could endanger our rights in America. Things like abortion could be called into question if a huge hispanic Catholic population opposed it.

  • I know there are a lot of Catholics in America today... but those from Europe, from countries like Ireland and Germany are from nations where the Catholic church was not that powerful in modern culture. Faith is tempered with democracy and republican values. In hispanic nations, the church has typically held strong legal power even in modern times. If you asked a devout Mexican catholic "Why does the US Constitution have supreme legal authority, even over the word of the Pope" whats the answer?

  • If we could be sure that our culture, holidays, language, social programs, and values could be maintained in an America that is 50% hispanic as some estimates project, I wouldn't mind... but if we reach that point where the majority is from a tradition where religion is sacred and liberty is not, we have lost control forever. I'm not a racist so I have no racial agenda here, I just worry about how my own rights and treatment will be at the end of the day in an America that is majority 'foreign'.

  • All of the Latin countries are different. Our European culture is so ingrained in us. I have gotten to know quite a few Latin people in my life and they do have a different culture that holds onto tradition.

Catholicism took a strong hold because it related to their existing pagan practices of blood sacrifice, idols and superstition.

I think Democrats will have a hard time holding the Hispanic vote.

  • Yeah, I think the Democrats should do alright with the Hispanic vote, but I don't think they will ever have the loyalty that the Black vote has for them with Hispanics.

Like I say, I don't object to most aspects of Hispanic culture and society, and it is different from country to country, but I think we have a right to the guarantee that the Constitution will be safeguarded above all other beliefs and traditions. I believe the schools should teach Constitutional principles as curriculum.

  • I think Hispanics are too conservative for the Democratic party. They believe in pulling yourself up by your boot straps, they are highly religious and they have strong family values. Three things the Democratic party isn't selling them.

Hispanics don't want a handout. Most Hispanics become entrepreneurs, which means they definitely won't support a party that wants to tax and regulate everything that moves.

  • Mexico is screwed up and the United States has done nothing to help. Why is Canada, our northern neighbor just as prosperous as we are... but Mexico is almost like a 3rd world country?

There are powers that like to keep a source of cheap labor and no regulations around. We don't want Mexico to be powerful.

How can China a country with a billion people go from peasants to prosperity in one generation? While Mexico stay poor?

  • This is a reason I think nothing is ever done about illegal immigration... the Democrats want the minority votes and the increase to heavily urbanized states that will vote Democratic, while Republicans want a source of cheap labor for their farms and building in the south and southwest.

Congress is always thinking in terms of the next vote, the next election, etc... no one is planning grand strategy... these issues should be decided as a country, instead of feigning inability to do anything

  • You hit the nail on the head. Congress is always chasing campaign contributions and future jobs as lobbyist. It's called the revolving door of politics. Which is why I keep telling people to stop fighting with each other and start fighting the corruption in Washington.

We don't want Mexico to succeed. We interfere everywhere else in the world but we don't do anything to help Mexico get ahead. We could have invested in Mexico like we did in China... but we didn't. Why?

  • I hope this doesn't make me sound like a nut, but I'm personally an expansionist. I think ultimately we should be working for consolidation of the Americas under a single Constitutional Republic. They say no economy can be an island unto itself, but the Western Hemisphere would make a damn big island. I don't advocate force, simply political deals in exchange for huge economic input into our third world neighbors. We could finally remove our dependence on foreign nations for critical resources.

  • China and the EU are not countries that I see good longterm relationships with, especially in the economic arena.

Our interests in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, the Indian subcontinent, Europe.... they are constantly under threat either from militants and militaries, or from coersion of the local political factions and so on. It leads to endless international games, holds our economy hostage, and makes us look like imperialists to the world. I'd like the freedom to back out of it.

  • I know I called the EU a country... I meant power, lol, I know they are not a country :P

  • Which makes me wonder why we never developed Mexico and the other Latin countries. Why did we throw-in with the Chinese? If we just put our resources into becoming energy independent we wouldn't have to worry about the rest of the world.

Of course the oil industry has a huge influence. Are we just setting up a huge customer and supplier relationship with oil? We use our military to control the world's oil so we can sell it to China?

  • Yeah, consolidation with Canada would be my first order of the day because its sort of low hanging fruit :P They are American anyway. Next to that it makes me regret not annexing Mexico way back when when we took it over. Cuba too. South America is a region that the farmlands and sugarcane could supply us with fuel forever. Its not just for us though, we could finally lift up the people a bit with the huge infrastructure projects that would be needed. All would be better off and wealthier.

  • Most conservatives are fanatic about keeping America sovereign and they think NAFTA is an NWO ploy. However, I don't see anything wrong with forming an economic union similar to the EU.

China is going to become a real problem in the next decade. Today there are more middle-class people in China, then there are people in the U.S.

We need to become larger and more powerful if we are going to survive and compete. The EU has the right idea.

  • I would never recommend giving up our sovereignty. That said, expansion should definately be on the table. Maybe it could start like the EU, but I think eventually either a federal union or a weak confederacy is inevitable. I would like to see political expansion aswell, because it would ensure resources could not be diverted across the seas by local officials being bribed, also a few hundred million more people to recruit from might just do us some good militarily...

  • I concur! The only country that will benefit from the Security and Prosperity Partnership Act (North American Union) is the U.S. getting cheap labor from Mexico and an enormous amount of resources from Canada (oil, uranium, wood). I don't see anything the U.S. has to offer besides military power which no one even wants, let alone needs...

  • what's wrong with anti-abortion laws?

  • Well I sure as HELL don't trust some bastard alien pickaninny who pays homage to a slave holding Arab autocrat....about as far as I could piss through a Texas hurricane.

  • Congress needs to stay in session and GET THE JOB DONE. Who the fuck do they think they are? What makes them think that their any better than us? At a time when millions of Americans are struggling without Health care, what does congress want to do? Go home to their beach homes and lavish mansions and take time off. GIVE ME A BREAK! Congress should be ashamed of themselves. Their nothing but heartless bastards. You don't see Obama complaining to go home. He's out there hustling.

  • Well, now that the boy's original Kenyan birth certificate has been uncovered, the only thing he is going to be acting on is keeping his ass out of the Federal pen
