When I was watching the show theres a character name Momiji when I saw him on the show I didn't like him cause he can drive people nuts but when I saw what happen to him when he was born I felt sorry for Momiji.

The anime a cliff hanger, the manga series is AMAZING! I myself am the year of the Ox, now Hatsuharu, the person who happens to have the curse of the ox on him. He and I have a lot in common, me and him both have a split personality. I do have to say, though us oxen are very easy to anger and also very easy to please, I wouldnt recommend trying it.. Because trust me I know.. When we're angry we're no fun to be around. Anyways, I LOVED this anime. But the manga is better.

I agree with you completely. I thought the Fruits Basket anime was good, but not great. The manga, on the other hand, I thought was amazing. I think the anime stopped the story right where it was getting good.

I'm a guy and I actually really enjoyed this series! I admit, it was a bit too cutesy wutesy for me, and I thought the fact that Momiji seriously should have been a girl if you're gonna design him exactly like one. It was a weird concept but I found it to be funny, sweet, and I thought it was very well acted. Though I admit, the unanswered questions thing was very annoying.

I thought this anime would've gotten a 3/5. I only say this because I read the manga 1st. Well, I'm a dragon. Loved the CMV. :) It was a nice change of pace.
I was also born in the year of the boar (1995) and at first I thought that I wasn't at all like Kagura (the only thing we had in common was that we are both in love with Kyo), but as I get older, I think I am a lot like her. Maybe not in the extremely violent type way, but more in the ferociously loyal type way.
At first I was thinking "this reveiw is way too harsh," but then I remembered I read the manga so I do know how it ends. Incerdible reveiw as always Tanime~

I hate the anime with a passion and Tohru and Iike emotional stories.
There are some good characters like you mentioned Hatsuharu.
Everything else is just to excessive.
Tohru is too sweet, the chibiness is overdone, just ughh.

this was one of the first animes ive ever watched (being a new anime viewer) and i really liked f/b. i did a reveiw of it myself on another channel. and i liked the cmv :) it was upbeat and corkey like ohshc was. cut u guys should sipped on some tea or pleased some ladies ;)

I thought this anime would've gotten a 3/5. I only say this because I read the manga 1st. Well, I'm a dragon. Loved the CMV. :) It was a nice change of pace.

I was also born in the year of the boar (1995) and at first I thought that I wasn't at all like Kagura (the only thing we had in common was that we are both in love with Kyo), but as I get older, I think I am a lot like her. Maybe not in the extremely violent type way, but more in the ferociously loyal type way.
At first I was thinking "this reveiw is way too harsh," but then I remembered I read the manga so I do know how it ends. Incerdible reveiw as always Tanime~

I watched the anime, and I thought it was alright. I thought how they used the Zodiac was interesting.
According to the Chinese Zodiac, I was born in the year of the dog. Shigure (atleast I think this is the dog character?) I would have to say, is a little over-going for me to fully compare myself to him, however there are slight similarities.
