Been a huge fan since seeing COP on Tomorrow with Tom Snyder...Cycle Sluts from Hell doing back box... been emailing Eddie Trunk to get Alex Mitchell and Gary Sunshine on That Metal Show since it came on the air... Cmon COP fans help out!!!
@pidarurod I understand your passion this is a kick ass song like black out in the red room or sex action...early la guns and love hate it is from here that i draw my comparison.Didnt like the pussed out direction la guns took as they progressed.
@frozenfrog74 you are a MORON!!! Not even the same genre. Both bands kick ass in their respective genres but to compare these guys to Whitesnake means you are a grade A, 100% MORON
I saw them live as a support of Black Sabbath here in Germany......after the gig me and me friend left the concert and met the guys at the bar. My most impressive concert...by the.... we didnt saw Black Sabbath playing : )))
well why they arent wear any spandex n shit because that is not hair metal or glam this band is got more like southern sleaze musical style!like guns and L.A guns or sea hags or something like that!
Circus of Power was a rock band from New York and Los Angeles, USA.
The band formed in 1986 in New York City. A no-frills band heavy on tattoos, biker-band lyrics and leather, the band consisted of vocalist Alex Mitchell, guitar players Ricky Mahler and Gary Sunshine, bassist Craymore Stevens, and drummer Ryan Maher. The group played in New York for several years until they were signed by RCA Records. Around 1990, Gary Sunshine switched to guitar, and Zowie joined as bassist.
Long Live "Working Class Rock-N-Roll" Nothing better than a little VooDoo Gator Rock for the soul !!! I'm still wearin "Greasy Jeans" and still ridin my "Shovel Head".
@TheGreatRichtig Your comment is one of the saddest I've ever read. COP was around WAY before RATM. Where is the rap-like vocals? And I fail to hear any vocals that sound like Axl Rose. Get a clue next time.
I remember these guys on Headbangers Ball back in the 80s. This still holds up today.

Far out, I hadn't heard this for about 20 years but never forgot that riff. Awesome.

I remember this. Most bands who debuted in 1988/89 never had a chance with their second albums. Grunge eviscerated them.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
you say they needed to be bigger? they were just a fuckin lame-assband who are trying to bring RATM together with GnR
TheGreatRichtig 2 years ago
@TheGreatRichtig this bands debut record was out 5 years before RATM's.
and they don't sound anything like GNR, no whiney vocals here.
