I'm a contract gauger, and check units like these everyday. It's a 7 day a week job though! Good money, but no days off in 12 years! No, not even Christmas!
Sorry bud those in that video are electric, not gas....Maybe you can become a technician/mechanic hybrid so you can work on gas ones and electric ones!!

how much horse power are the motors for these type of units?

Most of the time,the motors range from 10 - 30 h.p. I have seen deep wells with up to 60 h.p. and shallow wells with as little as 5 h.p.
