  • works on the 7024 only the setup wizrd dont work but you use the default sign in from market!!

  • OMG i love you!! u saved my life!!!

  • how can i download gmail on my tablet i really need helppp

  • @merobidegefa - did you get the market working? if so, download it from there. if you didn't get the market working what are you having issues with?

a gmail account is the same as a google account. make an account, sign into the market and download apps.

again, if your still needing help, you need to be A LOT more descriptive on whats going on.

  • @thekwa i couldn't get the market to work because i don't have gmail account

  • @merobidegefa - like i've said, you need to make one. you must be on a computer right? or are you talking to me from the tablet?

if your on a computer, go to google.com and make an account.

also, @ 3:17, it say's "Don't have a Google account?", there's a button right there that you could have clicked to create an account.

a google account = a gmail account, and if you make one from a computer it'll work on your tablet

  • @thekwa k thanks

  • after i downloaded it it says i have to have an account on gmail but the problem is i don't have a gmail on my tablet

  • @merobidegefa - you have to have a gmail "account". what ever user name and password you'd use to sign into gmail, use it to sign into the market.

  • @merobidegefa yea but it doesn't give me that option when i open the market it says u need an account and i say yes but it take me back to my screen

  • This was the best tutorial! Thank you :)

One question. I had downloaded the Market from different links, installed them per your instructions. Created a new account for my MID7125 (it was recognized in market setup as such - great!) Can download from marketplace; however, went to market.android.com for a coupla apps and it does not recognize my device as compatible. Appreciate any suggestions.

Also, have not rooted, yet, though I did download LCD Density.

  • @01MaJe - what about downloading apps directly from the tablet? that isn't working either?

  • Comment removed

  • When i download it it say there is a problem parsing the package Help

  • whats this "root" thing you have to have?

  • @Gloria98100 - search "How to root MID7127"

  • it wont let me into lcd density it just keeps telling me to force close why?

  • @Gloria98100 - try "LCD Resolution"

  • it worked on my 7120 :D

  • @Forpulus - good to hear!

  • and also how do u get youturbe

  • @MegaPokeguy - got it from the android market

  • i need help iq have this tablet and it wont let me go to the galery because it says the media scanner is running

  • I have come across more than a few Android Maket apps that respond with that "Sorry! Not compatible with your device" warning. If I do as you suggest towards the end of this instructional video, and change the screen's resolution, will it:

    1) Degrade the clarity of all things viewed on the Coby MID7127?

    2) Void the manufacturer's warranty?

If your answer is NO to both, I will definitely go back to end of this video and follow those steps!

  • why not just install the tablet version of market?

  • This is without root right?

  • will this work for all Cosby kyros tablets?

  • didnt work for me still has 2.3 android market and the the apps fail

  • can i go back to 200 lcd after installing the app i wanted?

  • @thekwa I check use by defaut for this action. How do i uncheck it?

  • i did the rooting as instructed in you other video but when i try to do the lcd density its saying busy box is required. how do i get busy box?

  • will this work on a 8024

  • @starman820 - i don't have the MID8024 to try it on, but i don't see why it wouldn't

  • now its saying i need busy box wtf

  • the lcd density wont work it says i need the root

  • @mtnintendo this is exactly the same thing that happened to me.

  • I have another question. I got a book off of the market and it says i need the Google Books app to read the book. But it wont let me get the app. Is there any other way i can read the book or is there a way i can get the Google Books app? Please help me because i need the book for school.

  • @MrYowolfman - you should be able to get Google Books by following my video as i have it on my tablet.

  • Really great videos on the 7127 I just ordered a 8127 will I be able to use the same videos you have for the 7127. Thanks

  • @Drphonce - from what i've heard, yes

  • Thanks for the quick response, I enjoyed the videos

  • @thekwa- the reason i want to unroot is because lcd density is not working. how exactly do i use it? i click 160 and then went tryed all reboot settings and nothing happened. i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing worked. by the way great videos

  • @aaaplop - if using lcd density how i used it in the vid along with clearing the market data didn't work for you, and you want to unroot.

use superoneclick and click the unroot button.

  • now at the begining of the video you state that you are basically factory reset, now later on in the video when you are in the market you are gonna install the lcd density app you state that you are rooted, now in order for the lcd density to work, do you have to be rooted? and also for the android market to work you have to be rooted aswell? alittle clarity would be great. good video by the way

  • @shazzydow - what i was saying by factory reset is i got rid of the market completely so i would be installing it just like a viewer.

yes, i was already rooted before i started, you don't have to be rooted for the market to work, it's just you'll not be able to get some apps.

  • i need help -I followed the android market place video first then i rooted the device and when I try to change the resolution it says that it needs busy box. what do I do?

  • @rmantu2277 - are you using lcd density or lcd resolution? lcd density didn't ask me about busybox

  • @thekwa- i need to unroot my device how do i do it i need to know ASAP thanks

  • @aaaplop - i'v successfully used superoneclick to unroot, just hit unroot button.

  • I followed all the steps to root and the superoneclick software freezes..please help! It starts and then freezes. A few other people have said the ssame thing. Help??

  • @TheTeenageGirl101 - i'm trying to duplicate the problem that everyone seems to be having, but my windows7 64bit laptop isn't having any problems.

  • how do u unroot?

  • It downloads to the computer but not the tablet. When I try to transfer from the computer it says insert disc. So far you get an F for effort.

  • @uaplumber26 - when you connect your tablet to your computer are you able to transfer any files?

if you can download the "Market.zip" i don't see how you can't transfer to your tablet unless it's user error.

  • The link to the market zip says it was deleted, can you repost it or tell me where else to get it?

  • @cshyde683 - i just downloaded it from the link in my video description again. link is still up and running.

  • @ShadowFoxx92 - try downloading the files to your computer then putting them on your tablet using a usb cord.

  • Well i have the same tablet and when i push the power button it doesnt lock. Any suggestions?

  • @MrYowolfman - so when you push the power button to get the screen on, it doesn't go to the lock screen? try rebooting?

  • On that tablet, is there a lock button?

  • @MrYowolfman - no, you just push the power button and the screen turns off, there's then a lock screen where you need to slide-to-unlock

  • i got really far and then when i tried to root the screen size, my tablet said your phone is not rooted. this app needs root privileges, what do i do now?

  • @kylekatiekris - you'll need to root your tablet if you want to adjust screen resolution using LCD Density.

check out my "How to Root" video

  • With rooting the 7127 , When i downloaded the SuperOneClick I extracted it and ran it as administrator and then when I was about to root it , It said it will have to forcefully install ADB Interface driver and i dont know if it is ok to do this? And my USB debugging was checked on." Please Help"

  • @zhanelove17 - just hit root and let it do it's thing

  • awesome video! It worked perfect on my coby tablet. keep it up!

  • do I root before this? do I really need to root? will rooting speed up web browsing or performance? some discusions say u dont need to root as flash is already installed? what does that mean? thanx u so far are the most understandable person i have encountered thus far-thanx...

  • @vondoobie420 - you should be able to install everything in this video without rooting. If you notice that apps you'd like to have aren't visible to you, you might have to root to find them.

Rooting it self won't do anything noticeable. Rooting just opens up the options for modifying/hacking/tweaking your tablet. There's a lot of apps that require rooting, but those are the kind of app that you don't really sound interested in.

  • @thekwa Thank you so much-you have given me the confidence to get this tablet. I appreciate your videos very much-happy holidays...

  • @vondoobie420 - Not a problem! Sounds like my video's are working!

  • @thekwa So my question now is the order I do all this 1) cockwork recovery? 2)root? 3) android market? is that the proper order? thank you...

  • @vondoobie420 - if you were to do all 3, i'd:

    1) Root

    2) Market

    3) Recovery (then make a backup)

Keep your tablet in USB Debugging mode and that backup in your micro SD Card and you should be able to get out of just about anything.

But, again... depending on what you want to do, you might only need the Market.
