@AZR0C Not all punk is what you say. a lot of the hardcore stuff like this has lyrics that are a bit more shallow, but the British bands from the 70s (i.e. , the ones who started it all), are the total opposite. The Sex Pistols, Clash, Sham 69,etc,  all sung about important political or social issues. What you say is interesting because the early punk bands were actually some of the first to speak about important things that many people at the time didn't speak out about.
