I just watched the whole series again, beginning to end, and cannot stop laughing at this. Learned a lot of British trivia, too, such as what is Camberwick Green and the meaning and possible derivations of "nonce." Every second of this is hilarious.

I have watched this animation piece over and over and every time I laugh like it is the first time I have seen it. Life On Mars is without a doubt in the top ten of best crime tv programs ever shown. Sheer genius. I am so looking forward to being able to buy the Ashes to Ashes DVD.

I had to look up Camberwick Green on Google when i first saw this, since I'm from the US. When I realized what they had remade, i went back and watched it again. SO FUNNY. This series is brilliant, my favorite show I've seen in the last decade. Oh and by the way, if they made an actual Sam Tyler doll, I would totally buy one. ;)
