Damn I'm only 17 and I remember that hockey. I wanted Federov jersey so bad when I was younger. Those were the days when you went to a boxing match and hockey broke out lol Guess i"ve been a bandwagoner since birth because I have nothing but D-Town blood running through my veins. Game 7 we got it!

@YoungTy94 Man, those were the days. You mention Sergei federov to hockey fans now adays and nobody even knows. He was my favorite player growing up and playing hockey. Watching federov and the rest of that greek god squad of all stars play on the wing's late 90's and early 0'ts was some of the best hockey in the past 40 years.
I've been a monogamous sharks fan since 07, sorry to see the wings lose game 7, but that was a hell of a series.

@Mralmostmillionare Well, I'm a Red Wings fan, and I don't hate Sergei. I was disappointed greatly that we let him go to Anaheim, but we kept winning without him. He was a great player in his day, brought us a lot of exciting moments, and oddly enough it all seemed to vanish for him after he left Detroit. He just kind of faded to obscurity with the Ducks, Blue Jackets, and Capitals. He should've never left.

Ive been a Wings fan since 94. This is easily the best rivalry ive ever seen. Oh how i HATED the Avs. More so when Claude Lemieux was with them. When the wings played them, that was the Stanley Cup for me.

Destroyed him? That's funny because I didn't see any blood whatsoever nor did Osgood miss any games. I realize that this is about the only major fight that you Avalanche fan can point to where your player didn't get destroyed, but it was pretty even, no damage on either side. Roy SHOULD have fucking destroyed him, but, as he often did against the Wings going back to his days in Montreal, he failed.
