Yeah, they're pretty loud, especially with the door open!! When I was 17, I bought a cub and flew it for a summer and a fall, logging over 100 hours. I landed on the highway and kept the cub in our front yard!!! A car accident in Feb. of 1966 ended my flying. I paid $1200 for the cub and 8 months later, sold it for $1500.
Is it hard to fly one of the Pipers like yours? How many lessons b4 you were up alone?

@dmanbass not that hard, usually is about 10 hours or less, could be done in a week

Is a J3 Cub pretty loud on the inside? (Seems like it wouldn't be with just a 65 hp engine on it).
