The DSN is well... THE INTERNET! :D it happens to me usually when something like the phone or another wireless object is turned on , so just turn it off for bit , then go on , if that doesn't work , CALL SONY! :D

unplug ur modem, wait till all light are on it ,as soon as all ur lights come on , go test ur internet conection. it should work.. if not u have to save all ur game data then restore ur system but first make sure its not the game before u do this

all I did to fix the DNS error problem was unplugged the Ps3 for a few minutes plugged it back in went to Settings>Network Settings>Media Server and disabled it. And then went to Internet Connection Settings and Enabled it. (Try this and it should work, if not sorry)

you have got to put your primary DNS as 4 . 2 . 2 .2

and your secondary DNS as 4 . 2 . 2 .1

your problem is that your plugging your internet cable into the back of your computer. this does not work as i found out with my laptop. what you need to do is plug the cable directly into the back of the modem.

that shit happened to, me i brought a router and connected it to my pc and my ps3 and it was working but i noticed that i couldnt find fights in street fighter 4 so i disconnected the router and hooked up that modem without the router and it didnt work,the router changed my whole internet connection setting in my ps3 and now i cant play with the modem by itself and i used to play with the modem by itself with no problem can anybody help me out please.

if you turn your PS3 off then unplug your wireless modem...wait a min. for it to start the internet connection, then turn your ps3 back on...keep doing that and it should work, if not check your setting then do it! Thanks DurexLoL

if your internet is wireless and ran through a modem, try disconnecting any computers or phone lines from the modem.because the ps3 needs lots of internet usage itself to play online. It worked for me.

Look, do the following: unplug your internet cabel from your ps3 turn your ps3 off and unplug your modem for 30 seconds then plug it back in plug the internet cabel for your ps3 back in and turn it off and it should work

ps: if this worked for you if you get it agian just redo the whole thing agian and it should work
